I find it hilarious the government is adding their comments when they don't get a single care in the world to data security. I can count ZERO government agencies whom use encrypted mail, support digital encrypted signatures, support shadow identifies and etc.... If the government wants to talk about privacy, they should lead by example.
If your work is shit, you'll be treated like shit, if your work is awesome, you'll be treated awesome. If you act like a libtard, you'll be handed a foam helmet and a bib, and if you act like a republican, we'll deny you every possibly benefit, so welcome to the real world:)
Exactly when was Microsoft Windows a high quality Operating System?
After 32 years, it's still barely usable, completely unstable, full of security holes. I run approx 300 servers and zero of them run Windows, across all the desktops I manage, only three of them run it, because of a crappy software that some clients require. It's fair to say that Microsoft Windows is a usable, some what functional OS, that can solve simple problems, but past that, forget about it.
1) Encrypt your notebook / computers with something like VeraCrypt and ALWAYS make a hidden partition.
2) Make sure to leave the visible OS squeaky clean and sanitized.
3) Backup your phone to the hidden partition.
4) Wipe your phone.
5) Keep your phone unlocked and open.
6) Gladly pass it over for cloning as it will be empty.
7) IF they ask to search your notebook, don't worry you have a hidden encrypted partition.
8) Once they let you pass, restore your phone.
9) Laugh about how this will work every single time
Boards will be forced to hire women, but not forced to hire men. This sounds good in theory, but when you think about it for 1/2 a second, if the board is comprised of only women, they aren't forced to hire men, which means this is the furthest thing possible from fairness / equality. Thanks to Feminist, men are having more and more hate thrown at them and in their face, and now it's being legislated.

You create a VM in Virtual Box or KVM, you install Windows on it and open the disk in the VM on Linux, now you're fine. It's not hard to get around something this simplistic.
Depending on the write method in use from the OS, you either have transferred the full contents of what you wanted, or you haven't. In the later, ejecting will finish the write cycle and in the first you're good to go. There is one other rare problem that can arise and that's file-system corruption. and you run the risk of it by just pulling your USB key out, although with any modern file-system, such as EXT4, BTRFS, ZFS, even NTFS, that chances of seeing corruption are rare.
This is why it's critically important to make sure you use secure and encrypted communication channels, especially when it comes to email and phone messages.
The problem was she didn't drive forwards on a green light, and has nothing to do with the Apple Watch. If she drove forward when she should of, then nothing would happened. Stop making this about the watch and make it about the total lack of driver responsibility.
Now that you have proper OS support, just make the move and go to a proper OS! WSL is a joke, it's for users who want to act like their Linux users, without running Linux, so just bite the bullet and move to a proper OS.
It's ranked low among security and defense products because it's a pile of crap, just like the OS they bundle with it. No one who cares about security or privacy uses Windows, because it's not a secure or private ecosystem. Microsoft doesn't have to come up with a defense because putting lipstick on a pig, doesn't make it a horse.
Finally firewalls on all the computers, which are all running Linux, so I use UFW and Firejail to make everything nicely locked down. I don't use those exact parts, but close enough. Make sure to disable any built in AP's that come bundled with ISP Modem / Routers. Your ISP connection should ONLY be a modem.
The harder it is for law enforcement to access an electronic device, the better our privacy and personal security. Well it sucks for law enforcement to be restricted from accessing the phones of criminals, that's a sacrifice we MUST allow, for all of us to have basic privacy and security.
Surely his computer was running Quebes OS (or something similar), with the USB ports disabled. If this wasn't the case, why not?
Fair enough, my mistake, but all government agencies should support it.

Automate your job and then work on other projects for yourself and the company, and learn new skills!
Basically sensitive snow flakes should be hugged, given a warm cup of tea and told their failure is really just excellence.
Drinking water does not cure pain, of course that medication would fail.
The Cloud! Why would your upload you data to someone else's computer?

ProtonMail and ProtonVPN are excellent services that are miles ahead of others in the market.

There is no simple solution to this problem, it's a full network design issue.
My current network setup:
1. ISP Connection.
2. PFSense Firewall with Suricata.
3. Unifi Gateway: https://store.ubnt.com/collect...
4. Router: https://store.ubnt.com/collect...
5. Switch (Managed): https://store.ubnt.com/collect...
6. Wireless AP's: https://store.ubnt.com/collect...
7. ELK Server, so I can monitor the network and computers

Well I don't find the joke funny, mostly because it's a lame joke, censorship should always be fought.
