I have a Nolia E65. Can I have an iPlayer for my phone? What makes the iPhone more special than my E65 which can do more out of the box, is smaller and cheaper and isn't crippled?

Can we please stop hearing about the iPhone?

When the competitive landscape in the cellphone world changes and the carriers just become dumb pipes, Apple will be the first to drop stupid restrictions

If that were true Apple wouldn't do so much trouble to find providers with their iPhone in Europe, where providers basically are dumb pipes, and sell the phone without a SIM lock. The iPhone is the most overhyped, over-restricted piece of malware at the mobile phone market at the moment, and finally people are starting to realize that now Steve's reality distortion field is ageing.

MS wasn't convicted because they are a monopoly because they broke European law. I won't be surprised if Apple gets a piece of the EU's cake for what they try to do with the iPhone. The EU is already looking into their iPhone/iTunes/one provider scheme, which is forbidden in certain countries here. If not stopped in its tracks, the way the iPhone is sold at the moment will have a very detrimental effect on the quality of the mobile phone services here in Europe. What Apple basically is trying to do here is bring the retarded American way of providing mobile phone services to Europe. I don't like what they're doing with their iPhone one bit and I hope and pray Mme Kroes will stop them.

Why don't they just put the mobile version on their website so every European with a normal non-crippled phone can download it and be happy? I don't get it. Why do Americans always try to take on their own retarded mobile phone market where crippled phones are king first while thee is a bigger and most of all accessable market elsewhere?
