I was sharing an appartment with a Microsoft fanatic in the 1990s when MS were at their worst. I always used Netscape and later Firefox or whatever it was called back then, and he always dismissed them as bad and inferiour, until the day that some AcitveX website had rendered his whole computer unusable and he had to reinstall the whole thing. From then on he ran FF but he never went off Outlook, which back then was probably even more insecure than IE.
Exactly. If it wasn't already on the ISS when it was launched they could have picked it up in the higher atmosphere. I would be surprised if there weren't any unknown bacteria living there that were specialized in living in the conditions at that height.
Microsoft has done so many terrible things in the 1990s and 2000s that they deserve at least twenty years more of MS bashing. You are probably too young to have lived through that hellish period.
What I also hate is when I start Win10 up and I have to wait 15 minutes because the bloody thing is updating itself. Why can't it do that in the background, or at least let me choose when I f*** want it to update??
I review free adventure games for Adventure Gamers each month. Many of them are made in Adventure Game Studio. These run perfectly in wine on the Mac. I hardly ever have to reboot into Windows to be able to play a free adventure game.
I think you hit the nail on the head with that. I read posts here from people who said they had hundreds of tabs open. No wonder their browser is slow and gobbles RAM. Just like you I never had problems like that.
You can also make nothing out of them and let them grow. Trees tend to get really old, thnk hundreds of years, and thus are a better CO2 harvester than everything we can think of.
I had the same problem. But FF has a fix for this. Find the Help tab in the menu, then click on Troubleshooting Information. This opens a new tab, which has a button in the upper right corner called Refresh Firefox... Click that. Then FF starts doing some magic and after a while it's finished and your problem is over. At least, it worked for me. You need to re-set a few settings but nothing spectacular as far as I could see.
You would be if he wasn't a dangerous fucking moron who talks but doesn't think. The rest of the world now just braces itself and hopes it doesn't turn out as bad as we think it will.
And still, despite all its flaws I think TB is one of the best email clients out there.

Downloading other browsers is the only thing they're useful for.
Yeah right.
Of course the answer is always No. If it were yes the article would not have been written.
Jezus made the Bitcoin.
Yes, this happens a LOT. We call it 'friends politics' in the Netherlands.

wine is more flexible too. Easier to use.
You've been in need of that ever since GW.

Only the addons that wouldn't work anyway.

Indeed. I didn't understand that sentence at all. Either quarz and lithium??? WTF??
At least they tried.
I also would stay quiet as a mouse with all that shit happening just over the border.
Indeed that is pretty amazing. They tried to make something worse than iTunes and they SUCCEEDED! That is a great achievement.
That is complete bullshit. My iPad 3 is now 5 years old and still perfectly fine, although it's been stuck on iOS 9 for over two years now.
What happend to good old Blame Canada?
This whole thing sounds like it was written by a gisgruntled ex-employee.
