There are plenty of CPU cycles in the world. If you want to set the balance differently, buy a few machines and run folding on 'em. They're cheap these days.
I don't think a hybrid engine requires high octane. Does the engine knock with standard gas? If it doesn't, you don't need it and are getting zero benefit.
Octane ratings on gas simply measure the balance between octane and septane within the gasoline (87 octane means the balance is 87% octane/13% septane.) High octane fuel doesn't ignite as easily in the fuel-air mix that goes in your engine, and therefore is better suited for high performance cars. In fact, using higher octane than your manual says you need can make the engine dirtier, as the engine might not burn the fuel as completely as if it had more septane in the fuel to aid the process.
In any immunization scheme, you're not looking for perfect coverage, which is impossible- you're looking to stop common points of transmission. For every person you get, you're missing one or more. This goes for your precious citizens, as well as those nasty demihuman illegals.
The bible thumpers really are a minority. If you asked identified "Christians" how many consider themselves "Evangelical" that might be a more reliable indicator.
That having been said, a larger slice of the population would have a problem with this situation, not just the hardcore Christians.
Get experience, get marketable abilities, then move the hell along when you want more money... or perhaps let them discover how much you are worth to them.
But don't mind me, I'll just be right here laughing as people with SUVs suck down $4 gas in a year or so... There must be, after all, limits to the power of Bandar bin Sultan (despite his lovely promises to keep the oil coming.)

Does the RIAA count this? It probably can't- it represents labels, not retail outlets.
