  4. So tired on EA To Charge For Game Demos · · Score: 1

I am so tired of hearing from gaming companies about how the next generation will be cheaper and more stable. Blah they just keep looking for an excuse to rape my wallet. Remember how CD and DVD technology were supposed to make games cheaper? Anything to make a buck. I now have to pay them for the privilege of what sounds like game testing something you used to get paid for or at least some perks.

This comes as no surprise to me and I remember thinking when i saw console systems such as the Dreamcast go online how long will it be before these systems act as gateways for malware as they continue to make devices more networkable. Now days with all the major consoles and smart phones online and tethiered to your PC it seems more dangerous than ever. 6. I don't think it matters on What Free Antivirus Do You Install On Windows? · · Score: 1

I also run Windows 7 on my gaming machine and I think you get just as much protection using the freebies as a good host file or a black hole DNS. I think it's not a question of if you will get a virus surfing or downloading with Windows but when and how destructive. My personal vote is for ClamWin. The new version features an add in for Outlook, scheduled scans, and a high detection rate. It is however not proactive but you can always pair it with a program like Winpooch.
