For once, i am going to sacrifice some of my karma for a rant.
Here is a guy obsessed about going for something and using technology to assist his attempt. He's using a well prepared car with better braking systems than the average bear (pun intended). Since most of his travel is likely to be on interstates, he's hardly likely to bump into a pedestrian either.
We even, through the Darwin Awards, recognise those who didn't make it.
And here you lot are, denigrating something you normally approve of, and certainly would have a few years ago.
You bunch of limp wristed faggots (and I mean that in a non-homophobic sense).
The Americans learned from when Russia went off in a huff and didn't participate in the Security Council of the UN. As a result, there was no other power to veto lots of UN Resolutions made by the US at the time.
Since then, the last Superpower and the reviving Superpowers have made it a point to have a voice on every committee and organisation going.
It doesn't appear at first glance to be an "idiotic" patent and therefore it's probably valid in the EU too. The EU and US may have a mutual patent recognition agreement, or it may be patented in EU countries also.
It's not a software patent, it looks like they are patents concerned with techniques for munufacturing disk drives. Patents are a bit tricky to read sometimes.
The way out of this one, assuming I read this correctly, would be prior art or alternative manufacturing techniques
Since Viagra (and smilar drugs) are meant to be some sort of Nitric Oxide booster, maybe adding a small dose of this will keep the patients alive (horny as hell, but alive)!
You're right, but if someone knows what package was used to edit the pictures, the filter might also be known, in which case there may be a mapping process back to the original.

Those clever Japanese, telling the truth as a lie, and burying the Gundam budget in the one for the agriculture ministry. Its the SR71 and Area 51 all over again, I tell you!
Dear Sir,
You have been recommended to me as astute investor. I expert builder of helicopters in Nigeria. I need £20,000,000 (TWENTY MILLION POUNDS) to....

b) if they do, no one will be able to find it.
Since taking V1agra(tm) noone has laughed since I whipped out my code. Everyone has been amazed at its size and beauty.
If you'd like your code to "stand up" better, get some pills from $OnlinePharmacy!!
I wouldn't be getting up again

This is old news. These stars were around 7 Billion years ago.
It's not old news, unless you can prove it by linking to the dupe story on Slashdot from 7 billion years ago.
... not all accountants are rats. ...but all rats are accountants!
when the numbers have all been crunched, how do you visualize your hard-earned data?
Well I start off using my fingers, and if the problem is really complicated, I take off my shoes and socks and use my toes too.
http://www.ast.cam.ac.uk/~optics/Lucky_Web_Site/in dex.htm/ refers to a 1978 reference (Freid). It seems that some ideas keep popping up, only the technology actually available to do it has progressed from imaginary to real.
How else do you explain George Bush?
...Duke Nukem Forever will also be released at the same time as the Flying Car.
They just linked 4 motherboards together. My cat could do that.
Would your cat be alive at the end of the process? We wouldn't be sure till we opened the case.
