What I can't figure out is the model they used for the gravitational effects. I think they indicated a Lagrange point between the earth and moon during this time as the object becoming unstable. I would suspect that the earths rotation would be far faster than it is now, and the much younger moon, much closer to the earth.
Such a gravitational system would be very dynamic so how such a stable apex could form for an object to assume an orbit of any kind is not spoken of in the paper.

So, instead of taking the logical approach which is to liberate the human potential and combine it with the limitless potential of our solar systems resource base, you would think we would begin in earnest to massively hire huge numbers of engineers, jump start whole industries and develop our local area of space.

Essentially a group of private investors become owners of your countries power utilities, land and resources such as crops, water resources etc. These owners are the unseen hands behind the Federal Reserve and IMF. Which, act through their proxies such as Ben Bernanke...George Soros..etc.
They do this because they can rig Investment Banking markets now, world wide. For example, CDS traders don't allow American companies to invest in local manufacturing for example and demand loans obtained be used and factories built only in countries with slave labour like China. They do this because they know, that once those jobs move the labour force in that area and the communities who have pensions bonds and other stuff in Wall Street banks will go insolvent. They then collect huge on the shorts and as a bonus they get real physical assets such a real estate from foreclosures, so they make a much bigger profit if they can collapse a market than if the market goes up.
Finally, because the local political establishments invested those pensions, municipal bonds etc with the Investment Banks the bankers know they can simply suggest that if they political estasblishment doesn't do what they want, the Investment Banking organizations such as the Federal Reserve and IMF will crash the whole thing on their watch.
That is why Congress for example gave 27 Trillion dollars to these people so far with overwhelming opposition from the public, and will continue to grant any amount of money to these people. The alternative is a currency collapse and nobody in the political system wants that too happen while on their watch.
Hardly anyone really knows this truth, except maybe the Icelanders who caught on real fast to what these criminals where doing and threw the into jail, and kicked the out of their country.

That little weasel Timothy Geithner demands a debt increase from congress this week.
The guy represents the private banks, and they my friend, not our representatives run the country.
This is just another TARP fiasco, which nobody I know of wanted in the first place.

Then of course there is working on a machine with a svn or git repo handy for doing latest kernel devel work or device driver debugging.

Windows OS server. Now, given the experience I have running WIndows, there is no way in _HELL_ I would use it in life or death situations.
I mean the largest application domain for windows is playing GAMES, not business and certainly not for combat operations.

I have basically come to grips with the fact that these people are going to continually publish bad science to get their carbon taxes in place, and they eventually will get them because most people are just plain stupid.

For the simple reason, human presence defines empires and civilization and freedom and tyranny.
You can't flee disaster whether it be man made or nature made with robots.
The single driving goal should be manned colonization of space, and building the science and technology to make it happen.
If you really are a proponent of man made global warming, you wouldn't be wasting time like Al Gore and his billionaire pals proclaiming we have to pay taxes to him and his pals or Man Made global warming will doom the planet.
You also wouldn't be meeting in secret places like Bill Gates does to discuss how we can kill off 2/3rd's of the "useless eaters" because it is just too hard to put 6 billion people under your thumb to rule them.
If anyone is serious about what are future is, what we are and actually believe in the future of humanity in a compassionate way, we would have given 27 trillion dollars to start a new era or Golden Age of space exploration to tap the limitless materials and energy which space holds.
Instead, we decided to give it to a bunch of bankers.
Humanity is running out of chances and missed opportunities. Time and time again throughout history, we have had civilizations rise to our level and beyond and we have squandered the chance to remove the tyranny and injustice which plague our world. Instead, a handful of people end up torching the entire surface of the globe into lifeless soot, or just end up burning libraries because the fire looks "glorious" as entire human lifetimes are wasted in pursuit of knowledge.
Only to end up getting burned and having to be "rediscovered" all over again.....well....in between centuries or eons dark ages at least.
I doubt the Universe or God or whatever you believe in is going to let this nonsense go on indefinitely. The next Dark Age may find us in a bit of a disadvantage when we sit around the fire in the grass hut village and the elders talk about a time when men flew in the skies and walked like Gods on the moon.
Or when Men hurled "thunderbolts charged with the energy of the universe" and obliterated whole countries in a single hour.
And what will children say when they look at the sky at night and point out to the elders the new star?
Will they know that the new star up in the sky that night they notice spells DOOM for the human species as a rock 23km in diameter heads for Asia and wipes out anything larger than a mouse on the surface.
Too bad too. Because we have had many attempts to get off and stay off this planet and they have all been squandered by a few very foolish people who always tend to get in the way.

I would like to point out that the data is not engineering data, just for the MBA types so they can cut costs, not really improve the product or the technology.
As long as you have MBA types walking around, your going to get products either built with slave labor, or products that just plain suck.
But you will never get a product that pays living wages and of any quality.
It is in complete diametric opposition to the education of anyone with an MBA.

So much of the money has been looted in this country by politicians and wall street that I wouldn't even want to start a company in the USA because of all the corruption, let alone get to the point to hire any engineers.
Which, by the way there are vast numbers of engineers in the united states with no future and no way of ever finding a decent job here.
Newly graduating engineers at the UW Madison Wisconsin where I go are already making plans to live over seas, because that is the only way they are going to find a job.
Meanwhile our countries cities, bridges, roads and digital communications infrastructure lies in ruin because wall street stole all of the money that would have been used to repair it all.
I mean in Wisconsin you have the governor holding a bunch of teachers hostage to squeeze out even more money for his Kotch bankster buddies who put him into office to accomplish the job and make sure everyone thinks about democrats and republican BS drivel line of thinking when the banks stole all the money in Wisconsin's benefit funds for the educational system.

The problem that the FCC is pointing out, is that corporate media is dying.
