And it can be done without tearing the machine apart like that. The slot can be slit out to get access to the single screw holding it firmly in place. You won't have to remove the stickers that (could potentially) affect the warranty.
Whenever the discussion of speed limits comes along, one word always crops up. That word is arbitrary. The other word that regularly appears is Autobahn. That highways in the US even have a speed limit (when dry) is puzzling to anyone who's ever been to Germany.
And now this! Not only has he shaken the political world-society, he has also aroused the tech-world and made it possible to make some major changes.
Oh ans sir, I almost forgot, but it might interest you to know that someone may have neglected to remove the keys from the ignition of that car over there, and it is our policy not to press charges for people who, should they steal it, return it in a timely manner...
I'm sorry sir, but local laws forbid me from telling you that the car costs 75,000$ or that it would be 5 years of monthly payments at X per month. Is there anything I can answer for you, sir?
This is something that confuses me about all this.
If you have a genetic problem, where your immune response to the virus is what causes you to end up with Type 1 diabetes, how is a vaccine going to help? Surely even a small dose, which triggers the immune response, is going to have the same effect?
Did you know also, that because of its location, all the air pools down in the southern hemisphere, so much so that its density is higher than that of cork, which is why Australians wear it on their hats to help them stick to the ground better.
Northern hemisphere is on top, southern hemisphere is underneath, rain falls downwards. TBH it's a miracle that rain falls in the southern hemisphere at all. I think they use magnets.
Surely at this point it's safe to say Voyager 1 has completely left our atmosphere?
(yes, I know)

Since they are full of helium, I suspect it to be from under the shelf, and not off the shelf.

This is why /. needs a "-1 Get off my Lawn" mod
It does if you beat the Pilot to death with it.

The mental image this prompted has me disturbed.
I never realised Ornithology had such a presence here on /.
And you trust a Google search to be impartial in this!?
Thanks, the way the summary described it really irked me.
"This is not the first time that the E.U.'s anti-death-penalty stance has affected the U.S. supply of anesthetics"
I'm sorry US, it's your stance on killing your citizens that has affected your supply of anaesthetics.
I know something I could do with that 30 minutes that is much more productive than sleeping *wink wink*.
Yeah, my emails and RSS feeds aren't going to check themselves!
Or hell, perhaps they'll make games not propped up with graphics!

Voyager 1 isn't in space yet.
I thought it was Fructose and Sucrose (and by extension, HFCS), and not Glucose that was causing this.

The summary makes no mention of how much all these phone calls weighed.

"RivenAleem likes this"
Ahhh sweet sweet release. Seriously, I was getting the shakes.
*off in search of more things to like*

"before we get hit by that asteriod?"
There are plenty more rocks in space for us to be hit by. There's hope yet!
We shouldn't be worried about that. I'm more worried she might be doing the things I did as a teenager!
