A better idea is to federally mandate that privately owned vehicles be limited to four mph. Additionally drivers and passengers

Could not agree more! Free Software is all about Libertarianism. We certainly don't need biger government, higher taxes or restrictions on our freedoms. Both sides of the aisle are equally guilty or trying to extend their power and control us, the people who elected them. Remember that in a Democracy, the average IQ is only 100. No wonder we get such yahoos in government!

"Vulgar". Right. And let us avoid using proper syntax, structure and rules in our programming too. After all it matters only that it runs without an ABEND; not whether anyone else can comprehend it, learn from it, refine it or improve it.

No, when Visual Basic 1.0 was first released at Comdex it was Visual. I believe you are confusing it with some of the other MS Basics which preceeded it. The whole idea was bought from Alan Cooper (sp?) who didn't work for MS at the time.

Language is all about communication. You are communicating much more than your thoughts and ideas. When you use incorrect grammar, you are telling me that, just possibly, your thought patterns are as mal-formed and ill-conceived as your expression of them. If you can't explain your ideas coherently; in a cogent manner which at least sounds intelligent, I am not very likely to put much effort into decoding what you really have to say.
