Long record? Two editorials in 15 years? Saying a bill that had God knows what else in it besides flood control was "bad legislation?" Oh and are they opt-ed or actual editorials? opt-ed are the opinions of the editorial writers not the paper. Two editorial writers do need the non-conflicting view points. In fact, one of the signs of an unbiased paper IS having editorial writers that disagree!
It will take more then a random quotes from the Fox news spin factory to make me believe that. NYT may be a bit biased but its way more objective then anything that ever came out of Fox news.
Actually, I've heard the points are evil. The Terrorists have placed satellites there that beam evil ideas like Communism, Islam, and witchcraft into American's heads. Quick! We need another 10 trillion dollars do deal with this critical problem!
You might hate me for this, but it all depends on your frame of reference. In stationary rest frames there is only centripetal forces I think these points revolve around the sun with the earth so from their frame there is a centrifugal force. Traditional Newtonian mechanics would say, "Ah ha! But stationary reference frames are unique, more "real" then rotating ones. Hence there is only really centripetal forces. But Einstein's Relativity theory showed there was no unique reference frame. So, in the end, it all depends on your point of view!
"As lawyers at Level 3 begin salivating at thought of all of the potential lawsuits."
Actually, salivation does not come till Level 8. However, at Level 3 you do get "Detect Potential Lawsuit." Don't worry, once you hit Level 3 you'll be a Level 8 in no time.
But seriously, marine life lives under much greater pressure then life up on the surface. This is not quite the same because to float you'd have to displace much more fluid.
But in general, micro-organisms and small (low mass) life-forms like tiny insects are not influenced by gravity as much as us big lumps. They are much more sensitive to fluid viscosities of the liquid they live in, osmotic pressures, diffusion lengths etc. There is no reason to think a bit more gravity would prevent life from evolving.
True, true. I don't know if the whole PC thing is a good idea, but I think its important to note that smart people had a resonable argument for starting the whole thing.
Just so you know, the whole making new names for the same people came about from a scientific theory. The idea being something to the effect of, once a groups name is used in a derogatory manner excessively it becomes tainted with that negative connotation (involving stereotypes). Now people will automatically associate negative stereotypes with that group when the name is used. Hence, if you change the name, you clean the slate, and the stereotypes go away. Thus, it is a subtile way to combat racism. It is kind of irritating that the names keep getting longer though.
I have been looking at more ethical ways to supply my craving for...I mean, uh, this is horrible. Who's responsible for this madness, I need to get their contact information to arrange a, um, protest.
Organic cells use thiophene backbone polymers. There is a host of organic compounds that absorb light. Do you think your car painted with Ruthenium? I agree though, there aren't many details on the website. Now 10 percent effiency, that is something to be skeptical about. To date the best organic solar cell is 4 precent.
Why bother when Why fund nuclear when wind is cheaper? Sure the wind doesn't blow everywhere but it blows in most of the country. Nuclear should be a back up energy source. Even when its safe and efficient, you still have really nasty waste to deal with.
Yes, I've done the hobby thing. Thats why I gave up trying to compile things. Mostly, I just find it a little disrespectful, not posting a binary to an operating system you claim compatibility to. Its as if its not worth their time making one for anything besides windows and two dozen linux distros. I forgot about fink though.
from those of us who don't regularly compile our own software, I don't think gaim qualifies as mac compatible till someone bothers putting a mac binary on their site.
it's worth asking the question: when does it cross the line into deception?
All I'm trying to say is the line was crossed along time ago. Its like if somebody took a bulldozer and started demolishing your house, and your complaining about them messing up the garden.

Men are smarter. Thats why they don't
make grossly oversimplificated interpertations
of complex statistical data, unlike those stupid women.....

No no. It went like this:
Phan: Main screen turn on.
Bill: All your base are belong to us.
Make your time.

I thought that was from a lawsuit in Europe. Lindows just got sick of having to defend their name in every country that has pattent law.
you can't trademark a common word. They will lose just like Microsoft did against Lindows.
I like to sauté them with a generous amount of garlic and hot sauce. I find without excess seasoning they taste a little unpleasant.
I think its amazing they work at all. Who ever thought organics could conduct electricity? Its like getting blood from a stone. :)

They are developing cheaper alloys to act as catalists to fix this problem.

Too much Si Fi....

Why fund nuclear when wind is cheaper!! Now who needs to wake up from Repubilcan propaganda?

Yeah, but thats at least 20 years away from being a practical technology
