    Some people actually do both of thos things.

    My point is, a lock is a lock - be it made from tin foil or titanium... you still have to break it to get in. This elevates the intruders action from simple trespassing to breaking and entering.

    ....well, not really.

    But many home users run their access point completely open and never have a problem. WEP still will make an attacker have to actually break in - negating their excuses of "well it *was* wide open , so..."

    Of course, this vulenrability applies to those would wish to/need to secure their networks.

    When it comes time to submit something I simply open the text file in Word, maybe do some formatting or cut and paste into the required company boilerplate template to make the corporate weenies hard, and that is it.

    When it comes to actual input, vim all the way baby.

    ...have you accomplished anything for these employers that is not trivial? I seriously doubt it. No way have you seen a product through conception, implementation, testing, release, and maintenance. So... what exactly is it that makes you so attractive to employers? You may well be a genious - but what good it it if the employer cannot reap the benefits of your genious?

    Having experience means actually *experiencing* something, not having a passing familiarity with it.

    I have found attempting to get any real work done on the plane to be futile at best. While I am not the most frequent flier around I fly enough for business (Permier Executive on United 4 years running now) to know that this is just ridiculous. No room, uncomfortable, power issues, no privacy... ...the best solution I have come up with is simply relaxing and "enjoying" the flight. While the 787 will be serving pretty long routes, I maintain that you will be fine not checking your email for 8 or so hours.

    Hmm well he has definately seemed to get fatter. (which may validate the original topic)

    When he was first elected I read in the Washington Post (the printed version but the story may be online too as most of them are) about how Bush chastised some of his guard detail when they were out jogging for not being able to keep up. Now, that was back in 2000, but still pretty impressive.

    Bullshit. It was never built.... however there was talk about building something like a rail gun (it was a mass driver meant to launch satellites).

    As opposed to those scientific laws that are based on a preponderence of physical fact, natural phenomenon, and proven through mathematical rigor (Ideal Gas Law, Newton, Kepler, Thermodynamics, ect).

    Moores Law has no basis in nature, no mathematical expression of its veracity. It is not a true "Law", but a very good forecast based on the technology at the time.
