3. Sell customers NEW CD-Burners to bypass DRM technology (try harder than markers...)

This is completely retarded. This person has never played any sort of MMORPG. You NEVER, and I mean NEVER trust the client software to do any sort of calculation that would allow for cheating, including sending it the only copy of character data. No matter how it was encrypted, it would be cracked in all of about 2 hours after release.

Everquest, alone, has a fanbase of over 375,000 subscribers who are willing to play a monthly fee to play.
Just because you personally did not like the game doesn't mean that many, many other do and are willing to pay a trivial monthly fee ($13) to play as much as they want.
...Replay users are eventually going to screw up the ad industry so much that the net result is going to be more aggressive product placement ads. For example, ads superimposed into the program or more product placement.
