    The real sad thing is, private schools in Australia get more government funding than public schools...

    This gets brought out every election by the teachers union, it just lies through statistics.
    Private schools get more Federal Government funding, and public schools get more State government funding. The state govements get the money for the schools from the federal government anyway.

    See this link: http://www.acer.edu.au/documents/PolicyBriefs_Dowling07.pdf It is from 2004, but it shows that public schools get a average of $10,000 per student from the government and private schools get $6,000.

    There is still an argument to be made that the public schools should get a bigger slice, but deliberately ignoring 90% of the funding for public schools isn't the way to argue it.

    I think you mean a meter and a half radius (actually 1.38m), thats 2.76 meter diameter, which is probably higher than a lot of garages. It is still doable though, even with the extreme 40 kWhr/night estimate.

    That doesn't totally suck, I guess, but it's worth nothing that fanfiction.net has almost 300,000 stories -- in the Harry Potter category alone (granted, that's over many years).
    I think you meant "worth noting", but sometimes a typo does lead to the inner truth.

    For the free parking - just have an extra card for the free parking spot and transfer the money to the card when you pay a fine. When you land on the free parking spot transfer it back.

    That is what the slashdot blurb says, but it is not what the article says. From TFA:
    In their Motions to Strike my case against them, they also requested of the Court that I be held financially responsible for their attorneys' fees and costs.
    As far as I can tell, this is about his case against the lawyers, not about the lawyers' case against Apple.

    On another note... the article tickled me to no end as Cousteau referred to the shark kind of like a "retarded cousin from Australia." I wonder what the Aussies have to say about this.
    He probably just picked Australia as we tend to have more sharks per head of population than most of the rest of the world, and probably fewer legs per head of population than then rest of the world too.
