    But what about the other things you get with the paper. Crosswords, TV listings which you can browse at your lesiure. From a news point of view I take you point and agree but some of the other things papers give does really make them worth while. I don't thinkl we will be seeing the back of print media for a while

    What we really need is a nice method where all your news is synced to your PDA automatically every morning so you can read it on the way to work. However as much as I like electronic media you can't beat a real news paper sitting in the sunshine or in front of the fire

    I've got a proper GPS receive in the car which monitors for speed camera and even that takes a while to lock on. A phone stands no chance..

    So you live to be 1000 or whatever but surely after a couple of hunderd years you would get bored and would feel that you've seen everything. SO what do you do then?

    Of course space travel might be possible then but you would then be stuck on a ship for a couple hundered years getting bored there instead

    The problem with all of this is that all the clients are human and quite simply we make mistakes. I can;t think of a way to keep everything secure with out humans screwing up somwhere causing it to all unravel

    The second I said to a friend of the family I know about computers they immediatily decided to say "my PC is slow". Cue normal story about adware/no patches/no firewall etc. However of course it doesn't stop there. I sorted that out but now have a reptuation. Of course it now means people assume that I know everything about everything. I mean why would I know about the ebay signup process after I did it once 5 years ago. Why is the email slow and so on
