I have looked at Catalyst, because I wanted something like Rails for perl, because "back then" I knew perl pretty well, and not much ruby.
Seeing Catalyst and reading the docs sent me over to Rails and ruby really fast. Because to me, Catalyst looked like a giant mess of options. You have to choose your database abstraction layer, your template engine, and so forth.
That's not the point of a framework in my mind. To me, a framework is build from good, working pieces, to take away most of the drudgework of web app development. ActiveRecord may not be the best database abstraction there is, ERB might not be the best templating solution. But all those pieces work well together, making working with them fun.
In contrast, Catalyst to me seems like they throw you a bunch of glue code and say "Here, you figure it out". And since Lazyness is a virtue, I decided to use the pre-figured-out solution;)
Your're probably looking for the Roadstar CD-655. Unfortunately, I haven't been able do find it on the manufacturers website, but I saw it in a newspaper ad a few weeks ago.
I have a box running Fedora Core 2 and a Silicon Image 3114 based S-ATA controller, works like a charm, no extra drivers necessary. And I found http://www.linuxmafia.com/faq/Hardware/sata.html to be a very interesting read, helped me decide on the Dawicontrol DC-154 controller.
If this is the stuff I think it is, then you get a "flipper", where you have DVD content on the one side, and CD content on the other.
I actually remember a professor at my university talking about this, saying a friend of was doing something great with DVDs. That was in 96 or 97, I think.

Up until recently, I also was a zsh user. But bash has one thing going for it, that zsh does not do: work with a UTF-8 locale. The zsh line editor get's totally confused if you type for example an umlaut and backspace over it. And since my native language uses umlauts, and I need a UTF-8 environment for work, I had to go back to bash. Unfortunately...
Why do some people put egg shell in coffee grounds?
Adding eggshell to the grounds of coffee is said to take away some of the bitter taste that can be associated with cheap or over extracted coffee. People also use eggshell to settle the grounds of the coffee. I believe this to be a fairly rare practice now.
Damn right about HTML::Mason. If you use the component architecture right, it's a breeze to add new functionality to a site. I used to be a PHP guy, but after having used Mason on a test project, I was hooked. Too bad it's not that well known, I have been scouring the web for a Mason job for quite a while now.

The answer to any question that begins with these words is invariably "yes". For proof, see "Internet, the"
And you could call it....MySpace.

It's not pr0n or BT. It's pr0n over BT.
How can there be a list of RPGs, and not one page mentions Wizardry?
If there's one thing I would like to see more of, it's Wizardry 8-style party RPGs. I don't think they even make those anymore... *sniff*
Is it just me, or did she look a lot better on the show than on these pictures?
And you think 4 digits is low? ;)
Here is the trailer in DivX format.
Then again, DVDs cost almost the same as CDs, so 1$ sounds about right :-)

Damn, that's good. That's much slicker than the

It is a mod_perl handler.
It's HTML::Mason
It can't be all your fault.
I think I have the same effect on tv shows.
Now I just have to find a way to use this power for good...
*Putting on my pedant hat*
Actually, it's "Bologna", and that's in Italy, not Germany.
Had the same problem, exchanged the Model M for one of these new multimedia keyboards (Cherry Cybo@rd), and the ladies can STILL hear me typing.

I just hope the moderators here have some knowledge of classical music and mod accordingly. :-)
Wouldn't "killall -9 Linux" work better? I think there are several of them out here.
Actually, you can link mplayer with aalib and have ASCII output. It really works, especially with the framebuffer.
Now THAT's ASCII-pr0n.
