    If they are just switching the order of events and not actually paying to have dead time(as in NBC paid to have a time where are no events for U.S. convience) then no matter what there will be SOME events that happen in the middle of the night your time.

    You are just bitching cause it was an event you wanted to see. How about you and your boys get together and toss some euros at the problem to 'resolve' this situation or cry me a river. Have a good day.

    The issue with this is you don't associate patents with free markets. Someone who does(I'm one of them) believes that there are still competitive markets with patents and that once removed, you don't really have competitive markets because the issue becomes not who can come up with the next great idea first, but who can rip it off the fastest and cheapest.

    OWE? WTF. Our society isn't build on some mail in rebate system. Company owners got rich because people bought what they were selling. They don't owe the people a partial refund. Big time investors get rich by giving companies money in hopes they get big. People bought what the companies were selling, and the investors get paid for picking winning companies. I could breakdown how this applies to every other scenario but I won't.

    OWE? With that false sense of entitlement you must be a liberal :(

    I don't know Mr. Icahn personally but I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt that he knows what he's doing and exactly why he's doing it. He has belittled execs of companies before and has had them thrown out before doing whatever is he does and he seems to make more money than he loses.

    I don't think he's just yelling at Yahoo's CEO in a blind emotional rage.

    You are right that Yahoo has a responsiblity to maximize shareholder wealth. My question to you and Icahns to the board: Does Yahoo have a plan to increase their share price by 73% in the forseeable future? We'll say the next 5 years, this isn't the far east, we're relatively impatient. If not, they failed at their responsiblity to maximize shareholder wealth.

    How is that an interesting idea or even relevant? Taking pictures of a home or something is one thing, identifying who it belongs to is another. Google isn't giving you the ability to click on a home and get the details of whose inside. Nice job trying to instigate though. You get a C for effort.

    Yes/no. Before the actiontec router (customers who got in early) use Motorola NIMs and dlink routers and they get full functionality. If you can get a hold of the NIM, you don't need the actiontec router.

    +1 for the above poster. As far as windows machines, arent there numerous floppy disk/cd tricks that allow you to change the windows password/make it blank IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THE DRIVE? How is this news other than its anti MS?

    MS will file an appeal somewhere and wait for the DOJ(I think thats the group who came to their def last time) to tell the EU to simmer down. If I was MS, after verifying most of my valuables are not situated in the EU, I'd tell them to 'blow me' and proceed to business as usual.

    omfg. I swear. Being a monopoly is NOT illegal. Abusing it is. There is a HUGE difference. Hence how phone(land lines), utilities, and cable providers are able to exist as they do.

    The issue with this is Clinton got caught in a lie. Once exposed there wasn't anyway to dispute that CLinton didn't know about the affair, he was a participant. With Bush, you have to show that he ACTUALLY KNEW at all the important points about the issues he was giving wrong information about. You can't (ethically) impeach him for being wrong after the fact.

    I agree with you 110% on the defense should be anonymous until found guilty. I think this is ESPECIALLY true with rape cases. I want the accusers name made public and the defense held secret until proven guilty.

    Neither is indeed famous but all you said was:

    Nissan Computer sales and Nissan Autos are in totally unrelated businesses. Nissan just had the money to make it irrelevant.
