    Yes, and people will also stop funding Kickstarter projects if the site gets a reputation for being filled with scams. Kickstarter isn't removing any risk, they're setting standards to boot people who are on the site solely trying to scam people.

    Audiophiles prefer vinyl because they think it gives better sound because they prefer the analog artefacts. In the real world, on average vinyl records and LP players were of pretty low quality and could be easily beaten by a properly mastered CD and even a mid-range CD player hooked to a decent AMP. The benefit is you save thousands of dollars on snake oil audiophile gear.

    There were no registered accounts in 1995 or 1996 since, you know, the site didn't even exist. There is also no way you registered in 1997 since the site started in September and there were not 200000 registered users since user accounts didn't exist until after the 1998 rewrite.

    Huh? The 3GS has been supported far longer than any Android phone so what the hell are you on about? I own a Samsung Vibrant that was when I bought it supposed to "imminently" receive the Android 2.2 update which it didn't for many months. Then Samsung drug their feet getting 2.3 out and by the time they did it was basically already dropped in support.
