Yes, and people will also stop funding Kickstarter projects if the site gets a reputation for being filled with scams. Kickstarter isn't removing any risk, they're setting standards to boot people who are on the site solely trying to scam people.
Audiophiles prefer vinyl because they think it gives better sound because they prefer the analog artefacts. In the real world, on average vinyl records and LP players were of pretty low quality and could be easily beaten by a properly mastered CD and even a mid-range CD player hooked to a decent AMP. The benefit is you save thousands of dollars on snake oil audiophile gear.
How can it be theft when the original creator(s) are not being deprived of their work? Oh right, this is just the hypocrisy where pirates are overly pedantic when it comes to copyright infringement on proprietary works but it's always called "theft" and "stealing" when the software/hardware/etc. is FOSS.
It was posted by samzenpus. That means at least half the time it's guaranteed to be a dupe. One can only hope dice will finally enforce some actual standards on these flunkies who claim to be "editors".
There were no registered accounts in 1995 or 1996 since, you know, the site didn't even exist. There is also no way you registered in 1997 since the site started in September and there were not 200000 registered users since user accounts didn't exist until after the 1998 rewrite.
Eclair was Android 2.1. I can definitely see why soulskull was scared about dice imposing standards on the editors. Any other media outlet would have long since fired these flunkies.
Huh? The 3GS has been supported far longer than any Android phone so what the hell are you on about? I own a Samsung Vibrant that was when I bought it supposed to "imminently" receive the Android 2.2 update which it didn't for many months. Then Samsung drug their feet getting 2.3 out and by the time they did it was basically already dropped in support.
Or the kernel dev who compromised kernel.org by unknowingly installing a trojan on his system.
They just get trojans.
And considering his answer was to someone wanting it for their personal laptop, I'm sure it'll be fine.
Well a bad break in your neck might kill you.
It won't affect you at all since this is about hardware and product design categories as the summary explicitly states.

No. It's not. He violated the App Store ToS and got banned from the service. How exactly is that 'anti-competitive behavior'?
Stop bringing facts into this!!
Great. If paying meant no data collection, no tracking and no ads, I'm fine with that. But since they'll still want to do all that, they can eat it.
It's not rubbish at all. You've fallen for audiophile myth..

Probably very few. People say that excuse mostly so that the fanatical Linux evangelists leave them alone.
If WINE could run any windows game on the market, photoshop, tax programs, etc
There would be no point in continuing to use windows.
Because such a strategy worked out so well for OS2, right?

They aren't blocking Google from making a maps app themselves for iOS. Where did you get that from?
Why would they do that when they make 4 times more money from iOS than Android? The 'appletards' wouldn't be the ones losing it it would be Google.

Standards such as being an actual editor rather than posting summaries with spelling, grammar and factual errors? Oh the horror!
There are Android TracFones. WalMart did the Samsung Precedent.
How was his crappy movie shoved in anyone's face? Last time I chcked you had to voluntarily choose to view the trailer.
But blocking it won't actually stop them from using that pretext to kill more. That's the entire point.
Which only benefits the megacorps.
