    But just wait until the law is changed to allow drugs expire after longer periods. Then drug manufacturers will have a incentive to engineer obsolescence into them making them both dangerous and ineffective.

    Will this cut be passed on to the people that actually pay SS and Medicare tax, highly doubtful. So all you are suggesting is that we get rid of programs we, the citizens, pay for without getting any benefit in return. Thanks!

    Absolutely. This is the perfect argument for the NSA. Judge, by installing more taps we are costing the American tax payer less money through economy of scale. Its a win-win for the American people.

    This government does not give a shit about its citizens. Its quite possible that no government in America in the future will either. They care only about enriching themselves and their friends in the guise of helping the "Middle Class" Unions were created to care for the workers that united through the power of collective bargaining because corporations were literally killing their workers. Our government now writes laws to limit the power of unions and expand the power of the corporations that buy them. In most of the rest of the world corruption is in your face. You bribe the officer that stops you for speeding, here you buy a politician. Trump and his cronies are no different.

    A month after I put my common area lights on SmartThings I saved $10. After putting most of the rest of my house on SmartThings light switches, I am now saving $30 per month on my electric bill. I am now able to see and turn off lights that my kids habitually left on when I am not home. I would say many consumers are not being "forced" to put in monitoring but want to see exactly where their money is going.

    A class III firearms license allows a civilian to own a fully automatic weapon. There are places where you can actually shoot fully automatic weapons legally. You can even fire on your own land as long as the local laws are followed.

    I cut the cord because of reality TV also. When Animal Planet decides that ghost hunting dogs are worthwhile putting on TV, I decided TV was no longer worthwhile. FFS, a camera in an African plain streaming animals eating each other is still "Reality TV" but without the bullshit of ghost hunting.

    Science only allows us to know what the highest bidder wants us to know especially when it comes to Climate Change, Food and Tobacco. These industries have a history of paying for a study and then paying to suppress the results because they did not show what they expected. The public then finds out years later that what their government had been telling them for decades is all wrong because of shifty payoffs.

    I don't know if Trump has any evidence of this wiretapping he's tweeting about or not, but I can see no reason for him to be making stuff up like this. What's the upside if he's knowingly making this up?

    Why not, his record on telling the truth is not stellar. His lying is so prolific even his staff feel free to lie without consequence.

    How do you get the second volume, or set of volumes in a RAID 1 offline in a remote location? If you are reading and writing to a RAID 1, I believe it has to be online unless I missed some neat technology in the past 10 years

    You are right, but we are trying our best to win our right to "fair use" in the courts, it has to cut both ways. I think this is actually a win for copyright but a complete loss for privacy. He was a dumbshit for live streaming it anyway.
