  3. My taxes are about 35% now and I get absolutely nothing from the government except maybe passably drivable roads. For an extra 5% I would gladly love for my kids to have a free education. As it is, I pay school taxes now, so why shouldn't they apply to a college education.

    You are missing the real point which is to provide some sort of income from the uber rich to the government of the United States. While the US will not "Tax" the corporations involved, they can still penalize the corporation and save face.

    Apparently you live in your own bubble wrapped world and see everything through rose colored glasses. I grew up watching my stepfather beating the shit out of my mother on a weekly basis for years. Broken arms, ribs, missing teeth. When the police were called, they typically just told him to keep things quiet.   17. Common sense told me that almost all of the promises Trump made were idiotic and could not be implemented. Wikileaks proved to me what I always knew, Hilary Clinton was not trustworthy and would be a disaster.

  19. Facebook is a social media site. If people think that the content presented on it is "news" or "newsworthy" then it is up to them to fact check. Because people are too stupid or lazy to fact check doesnt make facebook any more reliable or untrustworthy than the talking heads on CNN, MSNBC, FoxNews , etc. All of them spread "news" believe what you want.

    I work at an organization that uses a perimeter detection system around its campus, while not very advanced, it does work. I would think that the white House has some of the most advanced perimeter detection systems in the world. This seems to be a problem that is trying to be resolved by means other than a simple "make sure people actually do their jobs".
