In all reality, isn't a military engagement authorized by congress pretty much the same thing as a declaration of war? Sounds like a minor semantic difference.
Wow, you totally missed his point. We helped them repel an invader by giving them weapons, and you expect us to also help them rebuild. Nothing is good enough with you, why should we help them rebuild? That should fall on the soviets as they are the ones who invaded Afghanistan. Your attitude is like us helping France rebuild after WW2 because we helped them fight back against the Nazis. We may have helped, but we were not obligated to do so.
Do you honestly believe you should earn all profits off you work you do today for the next hundred years? This is what you are arguing about. Why should I have to pay for your software, when even you have abandoned it and no longer sell it?
Can I go out and buy a copy of "Steamboat Willy"? Knowing Disney, I probably can. But should I be required to pay for something that would be so far in the public domain by now if not for lobbying?
I have to say, I have an utterly different experience with SSDs, perhaps he should stop buying MLC and stick with SLC? SLC has 10x the life expectency, 10x the speed, but 1/10 the storage (and 10x the price...)
Did you mean vitrified rather than fritered? I only know this word after playing portal 2 and googling it, otherwise I would have no idea what it is called.
You created a fake timothy and kdawson just for a joke like this? wow, just wow...
That sounds like something from SWAT Kats: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SWAT_Kats:_The_Radical_Squadron
But, what would Natalie Portman covered in grits think about the frick'n laser beams?
I love my rooted Nook Color, and my son loves my old B&W one.

I can't wait to fly on Daedalis (sp?)
Except than that future small device would only produce one note repetitively. I don't know if your average pop listener would even notice however.
Mine already is...
Sorry, I couldn't help myself. Feel free to slap me now.

They accidentally saved the data, and when asked to share the data they refused, but in many cases they cooperated on the destruction of the data.
Plywood AND drywall? Wow, in my days we didn't have plywood or drywall, damn whipper snappers.
Aww, that's nothing.

A whole mile longer, and it has a tunnel in the middle for ships to pass over.
They made it onto Closed Circuit TV?

15k SAS is a reality, and if they shrunk the platters a bit more, 20k is doable.
SLC, constant write at full speed will kill it in a matter of 10 or so years.

Um, it was an alternate landing location for the shuttle...who didn't know that?
The Waverider was delayed until June, but it could have been either as the Miniteman was launched from CA towards HI.
Maneuverability, size, weight, re usability.
I have seen those along I-95 in MD, and thought they looked obvious, but a hell of a lot better than a bare cell tower.
I like my Nook Color with Cynagenmod. It costs $200-250 and has decent specs.
Thank you...didn't consider he meant individuals. Aspergers strikes again...
