    So you are saying that Netflix will then have to pay for:

    Their ISP connection
    All the servers they host at other ISP locations to increase the speed
    AND the backhaul that they are already paying for by having an internet connection?

    And I will have to pay for my ISP, and Netflix to receive this service, what a bargain I don't have to pay those backhaul prices too.

    Because no one can repay the next morning? These are overnight loans for the banks when they are short on real money that is being lent against. Otherwise the bank has to stop giving mortgages and other loans. This is a good thing that is being over dramatized. and we pulled a tidy profit of 40 billion off the REPAID loans.

    Personally, as the ex husband of a woman who acted this way; I would say that it has more to do with that daughters are more likely to be sheltered due to their perceived fragility.

    Not every parent loses the ability to think clearly when confronted with the idea of "think of the children". Not all people are created the same, and as can be mathematically proven, half of the people are below the average intelligence. Maybe there should be instead an intelligence test given before being able to vote?

    The central highway was literally a highway you moved on in the book. You moved into neighborhoods, or companies off of the highway. It was all a VR representation of the net where everyone owned property (more like Second Life than the entire internet). This did not come to be, instead the internet is much more location independent.

    This is why there are three...the three is for redundancy, there is no logical reason for each branch of government to run their own, instead the initiative is to consolidate on three for the whole gov.

    Except, you have to pay court costs if found innocent, which often amount to the same or more than the ticket. Traffic court is heavily loaded against the citizen.

    That is called small claims court and does not require a lawyer.

    They have a limit of 15k (generally) and require that neither party is represented by a lawyer.
