    There have been cases where a posted "beware of dog" sign has been used as an indication that you knew your dog was dangerous and so therefore were culpable for when the dog mauled someone.

    How many tube types do they use? If each tube is different, they now need to multiply their storage space to have a place for each kind of tube they need, and in a pinch can't just grab a tube, now they need to worry that they grab the right kind of tube.

    or maybe the cost cutting measures that are always happening everywhere else led to the development of a interchangeable tube design so those overworked nurses don't go to supply and grab an air hose only to realize they needed an IV tube? When the nurse goes into a drawer for a tube, it doesn't matter which one they grab, they all work. If the nurse is over worked and can't take the time to trace the tube, then the hospital is culpable for overworking their staff, they made the decision to cut staff, and this is the result.

    I would even add, the GMC and Gulfstream would cause more environmental damage with the materials alone then a Civic; Steal, Iron, Aluminum are not very good for the environment on a good day.

    I believe what he meant was harsh as in hot, but even then, CA or TX has him beat there, so not really sure. I think Geo would be great in MD, but I unfortunately have a 20ft by 24ft back yard so not enough space.

    Perhaps along with the AC, American Football is named after what happens to the ball at the beginning of each half, after each 4 downs or after a touchdown? When the ball is launched through the air off the implement at the end of a person's leg commonly called a foot?

    Um, read the link just above yours. Gehrig went through college at Columbia on a Football scholarship. He played football before graduating, not baseball.

    Unless the interference is happening after the D-A conversion...I have this issue with my desktop computer, which is why I switched to a USB headset, issue gone. Thos AC97 chips are terrible, I wish they would burn in hell and bring back discrete sound cards. I miss the decent sound cards you used to be able to get.

    And, frankly, the whole plot/story/background/character got so annoying that I switched off all sound after about 2-3 puzzles - I always switch off music, I've never had to switch off the sound before.

    Perhaps this is the problem with your enjoyment of the game? I'll bet you got baked into a cake too. You missed the incredible character the GLaDOS turns out to be.

    EP3 does take place in the Arctic, that means quite different environments. Maybe they are making the snow truly crunch, or having problems deciding how to handle footprints properly. Blizzards are difficult to make realistic I understand. There are many things that they can do to make it better. If this needed a spoiler warning, I apologize, but if you haven't beaten ep2 yet, I am sorry for you.

    I love steam, I rebuild my computer, install the steam client, login and start the downloads. Way better then what happened with my old copy of Half-Life, I believe I threw it in the garbage because my cat pissed on it. Now I don't have Half-life anymore, and refuse to pay for it again, but I have HL2, Ep1,2, TF2, CSS, Portal; whatever I want to play at a reasonable install time (on FiOS)

    I had a friend who would clench his muscle until the mosquito was getting ready to disengage, and then would release. The resulting increase in blood flow would explode the mosquito quite nicely. Never was successful in the timing myself.

    I grew up with ADHD before ADD and ADHD were decided to be the same thing. I took myself off medication in High School, so had to learn how to cope with it. As an adult, I find the best medicine is a cup of coffee in the morning. Coffee = Caffeine = Stimulant. ADHD medicine is just a very strong stimulant, so coffee at whatever level you need will do the same thing. If you find that isn't enough, talk to your doctor, or do a job where distraction is the name of the game, such as systems administrator :)
