Republicans and affiliated constituents have been trying to tear this healthcare bill down from the moment it was passed into law. Obama blew all of his political capital on this stupid bill. Only now when he knows that he needs to boost his approval rating (if he wants to get elected) does he start pushing jobs. meh what a total waste.

The question being asked is whether or not, should the need arise, the US military would be able to function in or near North Korea given the situation described above.
While we would not have the use of our uav's we have been watching North Korea for 50+ years and know what to expect. Not to mention that we still have the use of satelite recon and can best them with stealth and superior air power. It would be a messy war and that is the last thing our counrtry needs right now but I'm sure we will be prepared if they ever try their luck.
Anyone who runs a remotely popular service should enforce a minimum security standard on passwords, and have a system in place to keep outside parties from hijacking people's accounts. Stop making excuses for a multi-billion dollar company. They really don't need people to carry water for them.

Please, even the best cellphone camera is a toy compared to what a pro or semi pro would be using. Most cell phone camera's are pretty much a point and shoot whereas I'd be using a digital slr with a wide range of lenses. I'm not putting down cell phone camera's. I'm just saying that comparing (example) my Iphone 4 camera to a digital SLR is like apples to oranges.
Yeah it's not a job for most but there are people who would take that job because it pays a decent wage (for them) and it's better than the alternative (welfare).
in addition to engineers is factory workers. We once were a manufacturng giant. People had decent middle class jobs. Corporations declared war on the middle class and Washington didn't stand up for the little guy (predictable) because they are greedy too. Now we all see what a f*cking mess we are in. Third world countries treat us like chumps because they took our manufacturing jobs and left us with a trade deficit and a shrinking middle class. And now Obama wants to find out how to fix the country. I knew the Republicans would tear that socialized medicine bill into scraps. We need manufacturing. We need middle class jobs which create tax revenue. If he was so damn smart he would send someone out to pitch major companies on relocating their factories in the USA. That'll help fix the economy not socialized medicine./RANT

LOL I work for Comcast. We don't have a union. We get a pretty fair deal though so untill someone starts acting like a tyrant I think that we don't need a union here.
So in essence you are saying that Verizon needs to hire guards to protect it's equipment in the field because these jackass louts can't control themselves. I realize that most of the union rank and file are decent folks but it's the few assholes that mess it up for everyone. Verizon is already going to pay the workers to repair or replace the damaged equipment so why should they pay twice?
Yeah but they'll pay overtime to fix all of the stuff the employees sabotaged. Obviously these guys don't think much about their customers if they are willing to destroy Verizon equipment as a way to get back at the company.
One union picketer even went as far as to instruct his young daughter to stand in front of a Verizon truck to illegally block it from coming back to a Verizon work center in New Jersey.

If they did find a way to alter people to no longer be receptive to THC and other similar substances, and also completely allergic to nicotine then we would have something that could let us get rid of all smokers. Let it be distributed through a virus like the flu virus and we can be pretty sure to get rid of all potheads and smokers.
Just continue and render other illegal drugs ineffective too and the world may be a better place.

The point is; they have already chipped away at Apple's smartphone business (as stated earlier in this discussion) and before long they will own a significant share of Apple's tablet market. Market share is not the point but since you mentioned it I'm sure Apple's will go down as Google cut's into their product. That doesn't mean Apple is going away any time soon.
Google is the 800 pound gorilla that you didn't notice in the corner of the room. He's coming at you so fast now that you can't get away. In other words; they're big and smart enough that they can do that and get away with it.
I'm not sure. It's been quite a while and free wireless is considerably more prevalent these days but who knows what these kids do today. I know what I'd be doing with that 100 mb connection though. That's good stuff.
