I got an OTA pushed to my Note from TMobile and now the fingerprint unlock stops being the unlock after reboot or so much time goes by. It wants a password after that. So, OK judge, here's my finger. Sorry, forgot the password.
They tracked the participants for 10 years; how much more time do you want? Every study can have some criticism poked at it but number of subjects and time spent don't look like good candidates to call this one on.
Salute? No, I think the Vulcan salute is that thing where you hold your fist up and stick your thumb and forefinger straight out making an L shape with a raised pinky. You also need to nod vigorously at the same time.
What exactly about "identity" is under attack, and how did Roddenbery's dream of a communist future with one militarized government and no form of money conduce to protecting "identity?
I'm a bit puzzled by that one too; perhaps he means the 50% of humanity anonymized by burkas throughout the Mideast and large sections of France.
Maybe military computers should license only special versions lacking this kind of thing in any software that otherwise sends usage reports back to the software vendor. That just might be a security risk.
If you can get a DoD contract, it can often prove to be VERY valuable
Yes but the problem is that by the time a DoD contract goes through all the approvals, etc, it will specify exactly that iPhone6, 16GB models, are to be supplied and the year will be 2021.
The car in test mode probably has a reduced level of performance. The way to combat this is to test performance against the performance specs on a random sample of 1-2 year old vehicles at the smog test station using a dynamometer.
There's no "probably" about it; that's the whole cause of this mess; the emissions controls in test mode absolutely have lower performance. And all the news is that any fix is going to shoot the performance. So, anyway, back to my question: why isn't the fix just to change the software instead of this talk of modifications to the physical emissions controls? There must be some reason, but I haven't figured it out yet.
The thing I haven't seen explained well is if the software detects the car is being tested and emits only the allowed level of pollutants, why not just an update that runs in that mode all the time? Does something overheat and catch fire or what?
hijacking the livestream and derailing the GOP's message
Ah yes, the good old "if I disagree with them, I'll just shut them up" tactic. Works wonders in banana republics, let's do it in the US. The ends justify the means, the proles can't be trusted to judge for themselves, and all that. Everyone on either side needs to decide if this is really how they want their democracy to function before taking such actions.
Have you never watched video of a launch from Florida? The rockets arc out over the ocean. Thus, to get back to Florida requires some amount of turning back versus continuing the arc to land out in the ocean.
This is actually perfectly normal behavior from real-time priced power markets. There's a certain point where the consumers are going to become non-responsive
However, the end consumer doesn't get the price in real time, do they? I think the bill comes once per month. Consumers need a way to know the price in real time in order for this model to work properly.
The only Jack Johnson I know of is the boxer in The Legend of the Titanic.
(American isn't a language)
Ask someone from the UK about that some time.
Because water was practically pouring on them as he said it. Steamy, humid heat feels hotter than low humidity heat.
Everybody needs a hobby, is what this article boils down to. For the people in question, part time job is hobby.

WTF? TSA is a section of the DHA and does its own hiring. They don't outsource to any bidder, lowest or otherwise.
It's the Vulcan salute

is why there was a transporter room to go to (besides the tech on duty)
Google for "Chief O'Brien At Work"
that hired them, this isn't surprising
Turnover at TSA is so high that there are very few Bush administration hires left.
Yes indeed, I was just thinking that now some Chinese website needs to have embedded Google Ads.

plenty of time to whip out a iPhone and get anything from GPS, current LZ/target data, keep in contact with your team, etc.

Is there any real form of government that doesn't have cronyism?
Anarchy.
As soon as two or more people band together (required for cronyism), it isn't anarchy anymore.

There are several briefcase commuter vehicles on the market
Stargate SG1 seems a fair trade for this yet unseen new Trek show.

Facebook has 13,000 employees. What the F do they all do? What do they need 13,000 employees for?
I heard a fair percentage are accountants who specialize in international taxation.
How would you like to get a dead fetus in the mail?
Improper disposal of human remains (or medical waste depending on your state) is usually a felony.
