    It wasn't Canadians, it was the British.

    Thats true, and really they weren't fighting Americans, they were fighting the British that didnt want to be British anymore.

    And they didn't want to be British because they knew the British would spawn a Canadian commonwealth where the courts would allow thought thieves to roam the streets freely!

    Not that I'm not happy about the historical fact that Canadians burned down the whitehouse, but I really don't think the GP was around in 1812..

    Well at this point we're talking about the great grand-parent poster, so it just might be possible.

    In canada music swapping is only for old people.

    I may be in the minority, but I would definately like to have an all-in-one device. I dont think we're there yet in terms of useability, but eventually why not? When we have the technology to make a phone thats too small to use, an mp3 player that you could lose amongst pocket change and a 10 mp digital camera smaller than a fingernail, I say figure out how to get them all into a single device with elegant functional design and I want one.

    (I hope this wasn't some kind of weird April Fools Ask Slashdot article)

    my friends and I regularly get together and laugh over the health consequences of CRT monitors. I think its hillarious. One of my favorite topics is VDU WORK AND THE HAZARDS TO HEALTH its a laff riot!

    sarcasm aside, I guess it wouldn't be that suprising if it was a joke article.. seeing as how today is all about funny funny joke suprises! I for one am really suprised by all the funny funny joke stories. I fall for everyone!

    wait.. that wasnt really sarcasm aside was it? my bad.

    I noticed that Bill Gates was one of the 1st people to do this, even when the cost was super high ..yeah, cause I'm sure the cost is a big concern for him huh?

    In photoshop you can just right-click to bring up the brush pallete right where you're working to adjust brushes.

    ..but this brings up a tricky point. the ideal program would have every option that I need and use an interface that was intuitive to me, but that can vary pretty widely from person to person and job to job.

    Maya has a very powerfully adaptable interface that you can change to your preference, but that can also make the learning curve even steeper. There's got to be a sweet point somewhere in between.

    Ideally in a situation like this you don't have to provide your own tea. Use the tea of the oppressor, but remember if its going anywhere near the Hudson you'll probably want to refrain from drinking the harbor-brewed tea.
