    People buy crap from spam?!? ok, fine, but why cant the morons that buy this junk, and the scammers that sell it just get together and leave the rest of us in peace?

    Why do they have to constantly try to get around filters, steal resources, forge headers etc?

    Ideally there would be an isolated island or small rock in the depths of outer space that these people could go and do their 'business' on, and leave the rest of us alone.

    bah.

    wow - thats the one drag and limit to working with video online - bandwidth. this could really open up possibilities for video clips and shows for the people by the people..

    the 'permenant for life' thing seems a little wishful, but we'll see.

    If you own the copyright on a work it shouldnt matter if you give it away for free or sell it for a million dollars - its still your copyright. How could giving away a free sample ever cause you to lose the copyright?

    I'd rather play a fun-playing mediocre-looking game than a mediocre-playing good-looking game.

    the trick is that fancy screenshots often help to move boxes, and until you play a game you don't know how well designed it is.

    I want a cell phone that doesnt recieve calls.

    I want it to take good pictures, check my email, sync to my server, play music, browse the web and have a fold out QWERTY keyboard.. I want a big color screen, weeks of battery life, kinetic charging, and it needs to fit in my pocket and be very light.

    but it should NEVER recieve incoming calls, thats just a nuisance and needless distraction.

    theres no such thing as bad publicity.

    this just goes to show the strength of community involvment.. A system where the teamining bearded hordes CAN check every line of code and confirm each others findings.
