    ...display full resolution 1920x1080i HDTV, then the only thing out there is a high-end CRT. I've looked everywhere and noone make a DLP or LCD Projector or plasma or LCD flat panel which can display full reolution HDTV (except for the apple 23"cinema display, and possibly other computer models at this size, but that's not for TV)

    the only limiting factor is lack of support by one or another OS, which is the fault of no one writing drivers for cross compatibility, so you can't really blame one OS over another

    anyway, I'm sure Partition Magic is capable of creating FAT32 drives of at least as large as FAT32's practical limit of 2TB [ (2^32)*512bytes/cluster ], possibly even the technical limit of 140TB [ (2^32)*32768bytes/cluster ] though I'm not sure about that

    with a BeOS boot floppy you still need either the CD or a partition with BeOS installed on it for it to work though

    He didn't say anything about running sys from windows. but freedos has it's own version of sys.com that plops it's kernel.sys and command.com onto a disk just nicely.

    I serioously doubt that EFI won't have a compatibility with old BIOS routines when it first comes out. If it didn't, that'd be intel shooting themselves in the knees.

    I more has to do with DOS not supporting NTFS. Whether WinXP has a true DOS mode or not has absolutely nothing to do with it.

    plexiglass, lexan, acrylic? anyway I don't like clear cases, I don't even like windowed cases. I'm just looking for a normal nice looking metal case that will fit into a particular space without any gaps.

    2. because all that extra space could be used for air flow, possible water block and resevoir and other watercooling related parts, part of which is this water chiller idea I've had since I first read about water cooling.
    3. damn plenty of space for lots of harddrives
    4. damn plenty of space for sound dampening, whether I co air or water cooled
    5. the space I want to shove it in is a wooden frame anyway, it's a 5 year old bush computer desk with a compartment for a system

    That one is really quite ugly, it looks like a fusion of 1920s art-deco and traditional japanese, and done particularly badly. the builer's site has this at the bottom of the description: "It is absolutely unique", yeah, for thinking he can get away with selling it for $3250 to $3450.

    Well 6 formats anyway, they still need to supprt the up to 4 SD and MD sub-channels that ATSC is capable of transmitting. they can use upconversion if they want but they still have to be supported.

    This is actually the first time I've ever heard of a High School Sci-Fi Literature class, well one that centers on sci-fi anyway, I might've been more interested in my english class if my school offered it.

    I think timothy there read the page wrong, the donobi page says the personnal plan is unlimited bandwidth/month but no servers or bandwidth resale are allowed, where the business plan is 5Gb/month + $3/additional Gb and does allow servers on it.

    now as for Gb vs GB, I really hope their use of Gb is a typo and they aren't using Gb as the proper Gigabit, cause that would mean only 640megabytes/month, and thinking everyone will think they mean 5GB/month (40Gb/month), that could be quite a nasty lawsuit

    in the international english layout, it's used for typing in charactors such as: ¼½¾''¥× and with a shift you get: £÷ÄÅÉÜÚÍÓÖÁÐØ Most are quite useful keys even if you do only speak english
