The only stores I see outdo the big corporates are the premium stores. I live in an extremely affluent area of Chicago, so people are willing to pay stupid prices, to prove they are able to pay stupid prices. Whoever manages to get this market yet be in chain form shall be quite wealthy.

It goes on and on. And of course, upper management is littered with people who came from sales, so yeah.
There is usually soooo much bs in the systems, because people with connections can get the system set up to favor them. I do consulting on sales/configuration software. Everything goes fine until the sales assholes get on it and find out the super secret discount that gives them a fat bonus that they used to be able to do on the paper system wasnt put in.
The dems need to bring on a few bulldogs. Young people, millenial age maybe, who really couldnt give a damn about who they piss off. Who will call bull shit what it is, right to the faces that spew it. I mean congress would be mildly better than ones parents basement, so we dont have anything to lose.
