I thought it'd be cool to get a 104-key and have custom caps printed with Super and Hyper (for the Windows and Properties keys), but Unicomp don't offer that sort of thing for meta keys.
As the "design" of this doesn't really apply (you can't really apply for a design patent on the on the way the page is laid out, though you could if the book was shaped oddly - say you put a hole in the middle and some other things).
You must mean Peter Newell's The Hole Book, published in 1908 - with a 'bullet' hole that went straight through the center of each page. It was a favorite when I was growing up. (Unfortunately, reprints leave out the physical hole - as well as the watermelon.)
My current laptop is a T510 of unknown age - I just bought it (refurbished) last week. I'm suspect that the HD (a 250 GB spinner) is new, probably thr battery as well. I'll probably bump the RAM up from the 4MB it came with, but I don't expect it to be replaced anytime in the next 3-5 years. (It replaced my 8 year old HP).
Trainer wheels have been used for balancing the bike and these too are easily retractable with the help of a switch.
IOW, the wheels can act like retractable landing gear on planes - down when taxiing (low speeds), up when the bike is moving fast enough to be self balancing.
Or a bottle of rec wine sitting on the air conditioner to properly chill (cellar temp) for dinner.
(One of those combined A/C and heater units, with a convenient horizontal grill. And I set it up at lunchtime, after the room had been cleaned - the maids were trained to turn the A/Cs off).
You must have much better on-line facilities than anything offered by any financial service I have ever used (about 4 major UK banks and a couple of other financial services in recent years, split between me personally and various business interests). In none of those cases could I get to downloading and storing away a PDF in less than a couple of minutes of hassle.
Wow! Is this a UK thing? I've been banking online for longer than I can recall, also with a handful of different (US) banks - and, as I recall, all of them have featured easy to download documents. I just went to my current bank (BBVA Compass) to see how long it took. My login takes me to an account summary page. I click once on an account number which takes me to a details page which shows current activity. At the top of that page is a statements option. I click on a down arrow, then pick a statement date from the displayed list. (That's two pages and three clicks so far). Next I click on the 'Download' button (we're now up to four clicks, and we're still not finished) and then opt between Excel and PDF format - five clicks, if you're still counting. And I still have to press 'Enter' to save the file.
My other current bank takes about the same amount of time and effort, and so have other banks that I can recall from the past .
the fire phone was dumped. it will never see another software update. there is no fire os update for the phone.
'Never' is a long time, but perhaps you're right. But with the last update only two months old (version 4.6.6), we may have to wait a while for another.
Actually, this is a good point. So if you have an Amazon phone (all four of you), you may well want to start shopping for a new one - probably today.
I'm one of those four (it went nicely with my HP tablet). But I won't dump it (or root it) just yet. The current Fire OS version for the phone is 4.6.6 - which still supports encryption.
ended up with a 2015 Ram Big Horn for price of tiny Kia.
at first I couldn't even find the gear shift. nothing on the steering column. nothing in the middle of the floor.
then I saw it. a small rotary knob on the dash below the radio.
I regularly drive a Chrysler 200 with the same arrangement: the shift knob directly below the volume control. I can't tell you how many times I've turned up the radio while trying to shift into drive . . .
And the only way to know what gear you're in is by looking at either the knob or the dashboard It wouldn't be so bad if the knob had detents similar to a conventional shift lever.
Glad to help a fellow fan of "real" keyboards.

I know her maiden name, but I have no idea of what her favorite pet is or where she went to school.
And you don't even want to think of searching for 'recursive'.
Real Windows programmers use Turbo Edlin - with mouse support.
[I did, in fact, once own a mouse that worked with Edlin. Quite useless, as I recall.]
And there is a lot of crossover between the RVs and the micro homes market (many of which are, I believe, licensed as RVs).. .
It is as common for RV vehicles as it is for boats. [And yes, some people live full time that way.]

Where do you live? I'm in the US, and - at least in the tool and auto service fields - 'foot-pounds' is the norm.
Can the police lawfully commandeer a car that's not itself evidence or is that something we only see on TV?
Generally, no: Under what circumstances may a police officer commandeer your vehicle?
Those of us who used the OEM version either from the start or to upgrade their friends' machines.
It may not be of earthshaking importance, but if it isn't of at least some import, then why allow the user to do so in the first place?

No need to go shopping; the phone currently uses Fire OS 4.6.6 (last updated in January). Full encryption is available.

No one knows what to call it, but it sure can pick lettuce . . .
I don't get it why you always keep confusing those two. The one for implants is called silicone.

But my balls are sandy.
Look for Harmy's version, it's probably what you want to see.
