only the Victorious write the books. By no means is the US victorious yet. The USofA has only succeeded in driving out the Taliban regime. Who (btw) did [and for all practical matters-DO] support terrorist behavior.
Aint you a blossoming comic... how short a memory people seem to have... the visual imagery of a Ranger being dragged dead and naked throught the K5 circle didnt stick?? geeez...
From: PC Magazine...the Mobile Athlon (based on AMD's Palomino core) was redesigned to have a greater number of optimized transistors than did chips based on it desktop counterpart (the Thunderbird core). This resulted in increased performance without compromising power consumption. New to the mobile Athlon 4 is the addition of a data prefetch, which predicts data needed by the processor before it is requested. AMD also added 52 new SSE-compatible instructions (dubbed 3DNow! Professional). The Athlon 4 contains the Thunderbird's 384K of on-chip, full speed cache (256K L2 and 128K L1).
I can buy the book for $14.95... or the reader and the material for $200... pure economics... all geek factor aside... I cant photo copy out of an reader electronic reader either

Anyone remember the online game called Acrophobia? The makers of "You don't know jack" had a free game where you make up sentences based on random acronyms. Long since dead, they had 2-3 short commercials from their advertisers... Macromedia type ads... If you were losing, it was no big deal, but if you were on a roll, it was insanely frustrating...
Im inclined to agree, altho, I have to submit that when I submitted info... it wasnt with the caveat that they wouldnt license or sell my efforts.
Further, I have a personal gripe with CDDB in that whenever I tried to enter in information regarding studio masters of Local Bands... I received a rather nasty message stating that It wasnt allowed... emails to CDDB inquiring as to why... afforded no true answer.... siiiggghhh
Somehow, in a nebulous sort of manner, it really comes off as leading to a 'Matrix' type environment....
Can being a battery for the machine be a contractor-typoe position?
I was fortunate enough to get a tour of the production facilities at RayJay on Friday with the Technical Producer Larry Barbatsoulis, and he gave me some info on the EyeVision setup.... the 33 cameras all have the same aspect ratio. He mentioned that auto-focusing was somewhat limited given the distance the cameras were from the field's crown.
Some background on the process:
the cameras are positioned by a cameraman in a trailer outside the stadium. He has a tripod mounted camera (without a camera) he has a display mounted where the camera normally is. otherwise he plays the same role as studio or cameramen inside the stadium.
The entire game is recorded onto 2 TeraBytes worth of server space located onsite. He said it does indeed take up that much space... so much for real video
for replay purposes (which he said could be instantaneous) the feed is routed from the storage drives to Digital Video. Otherwise the data is backed up onto DVD.
Conicidentally, these arent HDTV cameras, and I dont remember if he said that these particular camera feeds were broadcast on the HDTV signal.
The Super Bowl had 8 cameras dedicated to HDTV, with a wholly different broadcast team.
Im curious if they pay a flat rate based on the up to 1oz fee? or if its a scaled rate based on the weight? If the latter is the case just return what ever they sent in the handy envelope provided.
Dont do it to with your visa, sears, discover, etc bills tho... Publishers Clearinghouse is a great candidate....

How poetic to state "Free For All" as a title yet charge a fee for the book. Hmmmm who's the martyr here?
Suppose it isnt 'blocks of numbers' but blocks of demographics ie: 18 - 34 beer drinking males that prematurely use viagra. Would going down the phone book alphabetically and dialling every third hispanic sounding name be illegal?
I am of the thought that if someone is indeed home, the machine logs the length of time necessary to answer the call, then collates the information for the target market. Otherwise, its a unsolicited "push-type" advert. Id wager that people would listen to the ad over sheer confusion as this wouldnt be the normal type of message one would be used to receiving.
In light of France telling Yahoo to remove Nazi items or face a ban, the USofA attempting to enact legislation against offshore Gambling houses, and now China... any other examples worth citing to further this censorship trending?

Overheard in Tribes 2: Ive got your number!! I've got all your numbers!!!
i find it terribly ironic that a link in his storyline would get /.'d

Regarding the Next war on drugs.... IMHO drugs won that war convincingly.
