Surely, everyone remembers the phantom marketing for AMD's great Duron CPU? It's a well-designed CPU, but their marketing if any was only centered around Athlon XP CPUs. Duron is a great contender for lower-power-consumption systems, while being competitive. I despise diet soda, and generally any drink not water or natural fresh fruit juice. My concern is that many products, anywhere from soda to State children candy and breathmints, is using that chemical "phenylketonuria" and such. It is used in products, and its immediatly apparent effect on the product is low calories and perhaps flavor. If it has flavor and no nutrional content, then it can be used to conceal feces as great tasting. Perhaps, that's all candies truly are presented to a digestive system: bad food. This weekend I was shopping at the local market. I got hungry and wanted a protein bar. I popped into a health food store which I know sells them. I was confronted with a floor to ceiling rack of bars. I stood reading the labels. Soy. Soy. Some weird grains and shit. Soy. Nuts and twigs. Soy. Carb-A-Lot. Soy. Soy. Soy. Can't a woman get some plain whey any more? I left without buying anything. As we were leaving, I said to the friend who was with me, "Dammit, all they have is that soy crap!" She said, "Soy is the new hemp."
In other words, soy is the new SuperIngredient in food products. It's everywhere: soymilk, soy cream, soy cheese, soy nuts, soy chips, soy bars, tofurkey, soysauges, soyloney, probably soy freaking candies somewhere. Soy is supposedly good for women. Soy is the Messiah. Soy will save us from illness and existential trauma. Soy slices and dices. Soy is the new hemp, which was the new olive oil, which was the new oat bran, which was the new fat free.
But wait a minute. Soy ain't all it's cracked up to be. Soy contains phytoestrogens, plant chemicals that demonstrate the actions of estrogens in humans. This is why it used to be recommended that menopausal women take soy. However, messing with your hormones randomly and without a standardized dose can be dicey. When combined with other sources of estrogens like HRT or oral/injected contraceptives, the total load on the body can be significant. Soy has also been implicated in thyroid problems; it can exacerbate existing thyroid dysfunction symptoms, and trigger an unnoticed thyroid condition. Given that many people have an undiagnosed thyroid problem, this is significant indeed. The mechanism of soy's action is apparently to inhibit or depress the synthesis of important thyroid hormones. Now, I'm not saying that you have one slice of tofu and immediately grow a goiter. The problem is the amount of soy consumed. If you push soy products into your gob in large quantities several times a week, you could be in for problems. If you have the occasional tofu hot pot at your favourite Szechuan restaurant, then you're probably fine. Soy is not safe simply because it is natural, and it is not a cure for everything that ails you. We tend to clutch superstitiously at food fetishes, and get myopic in our desire to eat well. The point here is that we look to one food to be magical, and what we miss in this well-meaning endeavour is balance and moderation.

I worked a little while for a cattle rancher, the last "family-owned" cattle-rancher in Orange County California, and thought it obvious to bump heads. On a God-fearing cattle ranch, people don't do such to God's animals; monsters abuse animals; humans are monsters and they execute any task deemed to increase money. The biggest fraud in the graphics accelerator market is when the graphics adaptors were slowly abandoning the VGA-disable switch on them. The best 2D graphics adaptors have always been along the lines of Matrox chipsets, and moreseo the G200MMS Quad adaptor the best. There are countless S3 graphics adaptors that have excellent 2D support. Some of us want a great 2D graphics adaptor with proven drivers to sit forever and not swapped out for a oversized 3D graphics adaptor with shit 2D processor that will be forever to have a good-enough driver come along that doesn't shake or bleed. With the 3D graphics changing at such a higher rate than the proven iceberg 2D industry, it would be good to choose and install any 3D graphics accelerator and flip a switch to prevent it from conflicting with an already existing 2D graphics adaptor. And let me say, a Matrox G200MMS is an excellent graphics adaptor; especially for a justified price for a five year old that is pricey to this day!
I want four framebuffers active on a Matrox G200MMS, and DRI Radeon 9100 drivers allow windowing to either framebuffer on the Matrox G200; but I can't because they are all anti-competitive and conflict with one another. Some specialty motherboards have a specialty BIOS that allows manipulating the PCI bus to allow multiple displays, but the source of the problem is anti-competitive companies. You can mix differently rated Voodoo2 adaptors in any combinations with 3Dfx, STB, Hercules, BlackMagic, Creative Labs in SLI mode, but today's graphics accelerators will not allow overide for a graphics adaptor to coexist with a competitor? I call bullshit.
There are a number of computer architectures that are not popular for this one fact: a recent graphics accelerator's 2D processor and BIOS is not compatible, and in truth the 3D GPU is compatible, but the entire adaptor is useless due to the non-compatible VGA BIOS being in conflict. Need a recent example? I just sold a Permedia2 graphics adaptor pulled from an Alpha architecture computer, for $350 dollars! Here. There are people clawing tooth and nail to get a good compatible graphics adaptor for a superior computing environment that is limited to IBM 16bit VGA initialization code for the video subsystem; and the adaptor I sold on eBay, for example, has a VGA-disable switch and can allow it to be mixed with ANY other graphics adaptor such as a Matrox G200. All of today's graphics accelerators would function in such an architecture, but their 2D VGA prevents such from happening when it conflicts with an already existing compliant 2D graphics adaptor.

Surely, everyone remembers the phantom marketing for AMD's great Duron CPU? It's a well-designed CPU, but their marketing if any was only centered around Athlon XP CPUs. I need to say what I have known. I worked a little while for a cattle rancher, the last "family-owned" cattle-rancher in Orange County California, and thought it obvious to bump heads. The main webpage presented to me is posted below, that anyone not need overload that PETA-supporting server. Just as the webpage shows that milk is bad, it doesn't show why the milk is good after it presents all the evidence that perhaps evenly cancels-out all the statements that are made against a general concept. The concept of "abuse", is the typical behavior afforded to dairy cattle in a dairy industry, disrespectful to God's animals and slothy activities.
It all begins with "pus" and hormones.
The content of my rebuke: "pus" is verry bad for consumption in milk, whereas; (i)more "pus" is in excessively milked dairy cattle, and (ii)more "pus" is in dairy cattle that have been raised exceptionally with growth hormones. On a God-fearing cattle ranch, people don't do such to God's animals; monsters abuse animals; humans are monsters and they execute any task deemed to increase money. Honestly, I have drink milk expressly all my life; all processed milk. I did not become aware of "pus" content until about 1.5 years ago when my great patriot friend's rent-share, a Krishnan, and him being expressly health concious allowed some of his vast knowledge of cattle to spill onto others.

The biggest fraud in the graphics accelerator market is when the graphics adaptors were slowly abandoning the VGA-disable switch on them. The best 2D graphics adaptors have always been along the lines of Matrox chipsets, and moreseo the G200MMS Quad adaptor the best. There are countless S3 graphics adaptors that have excellent 2D support. Some of us want a great 2D graphics adaptor with proven drivers to sit forever and not swapped out for a oversized 3D graphics adaptor with shit 2D processor that will be forever to have a good-enough driver come along that doesn't shake or bleed. With the 3D graphics changing at such a higher rate than the proven iceberg 2D industry, it would be good to choose and install any 3D graphics accelerator and flip a switch to prevent it from conflicting with an already existing 2D graphics adaptor. And let me say, a Matrox G200MMS is an excellent graphics adaptor; especially for a justified price for a five year old that is pricey to this day!
I want four framebuffers active on a Matrox G200MMS, and DRI Radeon 9100 drivers allow windowing to either framebuffer on the Matrox G200; but I can't because they are all anti-competitive and conflict with one another. Some specialty motherboards have a specialty BIOS that allows manipulating the PCI bus to allow multiple displays, but the source of the problem is anti-competitive companies. You can mix differently rated Voodoo2 adaptors in any combinations with 3Dfx, STB, Hercules, BlackMagic, Creative Labs in SLI mode, but today's graphics accelerators will not allow overide for a graphics adaptor to coexist with a competitor? I call bullshit.
There are a number of computer architectures that are not popular for this one fact: a recent graphics accelerator's 2D processor and BIOS is not compatible, and in truth the 3D GPU is compatible, but the entire adaptor is useless due to the non-compatible VGA BIOS being in conflict. Need a recent example? I just sold a Permedia2 graphics adaptor pulled from an Alpha architecture computer, for $350 dollars! Here. There are people clawing tooth and nail to get a good compatible graphics adaptor for a superior computing environment that is limited to IBM 16bit VGA initialization code for the video subsystem; and the adaptor I sold on eBay, for example, has a VGA-disable switch and can allow it to be mixed with ANY other graphics adaptor such as a Matrox G200. All of today's graphics accelerators would function in such an architecture, but their 2D VGA prevents such from happening when it conflicts with an already existing compliant 2D graphics adaptor.
Oh well. Let them be anti-competitive and run the market down to the lowest quality part: Only in United States do they shoot you in the foot with a bullet made in Mexico, China, Taiwan, Japan, or Brazil; through an American made gun barrel, and a Russian KGB silencer.
The lesser expense of improving a graphics accelerator is to increase the ammount of RAM. To this day, only 3DLabs provided a retail-available graphics accelerator with 512MB RAM in their VPU960 product.
It's not the days of cheap-bastard syndrome, where the increase of RAM adds %75 of the value of a product, like back when SGRAM was featured. Yet, when RAM was expensive, all the graphics adapters were extendable by featuring a RAM socket. Just as was the AT motherboard form factor being much better than the ATX footprint, so was graphics adaptor extendability than today's space heaters and leif blowers.
