I loved my Nokia phones when I first got a cell phone, they made my first 3 if I'm not mistaken. They were rugged, good battery life, great signal. I wanted more then a 96 pixel black and white screen though. I could not find any Nokia better then the low end, and they were already starting to disappear. If Nokia had given me a fully featured phone, then my last few phones probably would not have been Samsungs. Nokia, as far as I'm concerned, you gave up your market position in the US.
Hmm your point would be relevant if the founders had known what the internet was and decided not to address it. Do to the fact that they did not know, your point means nothing.
Kind of a broad statement wouldnt you say? Have you ever actually read scientific journals?
It's always intriguing that the harshest, most sarcastic and caustic critics have never actually read them... What does that say about your willingness to say non-factually based things?
Rant, vitriolic? Lol wut? I didn't say anything bad about Apple except, screw them if they don't like it. That's not even that bad. The only person here with a vitriolic rant was you.
Ohh and my sig, the only thing I portrayed as fact was the fact that there are special gloves you can get for the ipod/pad. Everything else is obviously an opinion.
So take your damn chill pill, hell go get you some weed or something and calm the hell down. Ohh, and I'm trying to be nice today.. so have a wonderful super bowl Sunday.
They make special gloves for using with the ipod/pad, and why would they make a deal? Jailbreak and load, screw apple if they don't like it. Even if they did have to get the app approved, they could always just load the data files right before the game. Why would you have to send the actual plays to apple? I dont think any of the news paper apps have to get the content approved, just the actual app.
Just like a corporation NEVER has rights? Oh wait they are people too!! Lets not do anything that would harm those "people's" rights. They have a right to gigantic profit margins, right? Cant fucking get in the way of those now can we?
Perhaps it has the right to regulate it, after all they do regulate telecommunications. Isn't the internet kinda like a digital form of that. I fail to see why everyone is so uptight about the FCC. If they can force the carriers to treat each and every packet the same I'm all for it. You know, just like how the carriers treated phone calls the same.
I watched your video, and your right, it works. Seriously look at that video and ask yourself if they could get it set up on both sides of the border, get a reasonable number of people across, and get it put away and get away before the border patrol runs across the whole operation. Personally I dont think so. I think for this type of operation they would need at least a few hours to make it worthwhile.
Ive seen the way people drive when they are constrained by gravity. I would hate to see the way people drive when they could drive anywhere they chose. Cars over your house, cars in the woods, cars over lakes. Nuhh huh, you can keep your flying cars.

If you can brick your phone that easily with software, then yea they should fix it.

Nothing, it will probably take many different things to replace oil. Just cause there is no one magic solution doesn't mean there isn't a problem.
What makes you think the Japanese space agency doesn't?
Umm..
The slow death of a relaxing Sunday drive is due to assholes with SUVs?
(Probably more to the price of gas, but whatever.)
That's ok, apparently no one would ever want you because you don't know how to capitalize.
Go to a library. Even if the local library doesn't have any, usually you can visit a local college/university and get a hold of them.

FTFY
Cuts both ways there

Send a note up the dumbwaiter, perhaps they can start an excavation to get down the stairs. :)
Wow, you don't know where the stairs are? How does your mom deliver Doritos, Mountain Dew, and pizza?
Try little balls of toilet paper stuck up your nose, and bring gum. They both help with the altitude difference.
lol
If you have games that people can play on any server they wanted, they are less likely to buy the shiny new game.
So its a formed of planned obsolescence, you game stops working then its time for you to buy the new one isnt it?
My guess is if Sony was going to install something on your machine it would be in one of the updates forced down to... Hey, wait a minute...

The Phelps clan found slashdot? There goes the neighborhood.
Somehow I don't think you did.
See what I did there?
I don't think you truly understood the parent post.
Perhaps none of them, but someone has to point out its their own damn fault, and everyone has been warning them that this was gonna happen.
