    mm that is the theory but as will all list based pr systems its far more for the benefit of time severs and technocrats and special interests - Germanys anti nuke decision is mainly to keep the current collation in power by paying off a tiny number of green MP's

    its not the actual damage that a dirty bomb would cause that would be of interest to a terrorist organisation - its the level of terror and effect on the population that the post bomb clamp down would create.

    Well American politicians are polite to the point of obsequiousness - as some one I know who works in the palace of Westminster - they call each other far worse things that get on TV or in hansard.

    There was also the major bar fight in teh HOC recently when a now ex labor MP fought 3 conservatives and one labour MP before being arrested.

    Though one observer commented that's nothing Norman Tebbit got punched actually in the HOC chamber

    given how mature the pc industry is Any reasonable person would expect to be able to put a dvd/cd/bluray into a computer and have it play - wonder what the trading standards offficers will say when they get complains from consumers - or is this just a way to let manufacturers charge extra for crap ware 3rd party dvd players.

    Well it would only remain in the cyber realm until lines are crossed and then you goto more traditional DA - In the recent BBC documentary on real spies William Hauge said that they had taken physical action - Gone hardcore to use the old school CP term.

    I think most people would twig that something was up if a hottie like Anna Chapman paid attention to you. I would have have probably contacted Thames House to see if they wanted to run a sting on the KGB - of course to keep up the pretense of a besotted nerd under her thumb id need an expense account to keep up the pretense I am embezzling from the MO'ds secret paperclip replacement project.

    I recall that some on who knew her slightly in the Uk said he thought she was a high class call girl.

    well as some one who worked for a big telcom back in the 90's back in the mid 90's when the internet took off big time it was obvious even before then that ipv6 was a disaster. Developed in an ivory tower like OSI with ZERO thought given to interoperability and migration which should have been the Key things when developing a replacement for IPv4.

    Not really

    take two examples

    1 some one embezels $1,000,000 from your company - which then goes bust
    2 some one takes company information (code data or what have you) goes to a competitor which then uses the info to
    compete and you company goes bust.

    Its the same end result - and yes I do know of cases where people have taken company information and been paid for it when they joined a competitor (I cant say which company for legal reasons)
