    And has been so every since the NEA bribed and conned every state legislature to require an "education" degree to get a teacher certification. In the early 70's my high school annual listed each teachers degree. They had at least a bachelors in the subject being taught. The listing ended in 74, wonder what they are hiding? When a bachelors in "education" became the primary focus, test scores started dropping. All any College of Education is at any University is the NEA's indoctrination school for left wing teaching.

    They don't want to be controlled more than they are? They don't want their pension fund to spent on political campaigns? They would rather get promoted for their work, competence, and merit than time in a union? There are many reasons not to join a union. Most are more corrupt than the politicians.

    The whole point of the 75% comment was to point out that Obama's "jobs" are paybacks for the union support only. Not for most citizens of this country.

    The expense of the filters and other technology used for cleaning stack gasses has been born by the industry, not the Govt.

    Anything that even hints at raising utility bills by 50% in this economy is moronic at best.

    Where is there mass transit that works in the U. S.?
    Boston to Washington corridor, Chicago, LA and Frisco. That's about it. Most people haven't seen it and therefore won't trust it.
    If it is cheaper and more convenient that flying or driving medium distances, it might have a chance. If it can be built.
    Add in that it's another massive spending program that there is no money to pay for and this idea just won't fly.

    That is exactly what "Cap & Trade" (or Crap & Trap) is all about. Using the resulting tax to bankrupt the coal fired power plants.

    Of course the whole shell game with so called "carbon credits" is the same as saying "It's OK if I pee in your pool because I filtered the water in your toilet tank." That is what this foolishness is about, an illusion.

    The Constitution doesn't require a lawyer to translate it, only a bit of average High School education. See the point?

    Be serious, they haven't come to grips that the "Savior" is just a Chicago politician, with all the corruption that is part of that phrase.

    Until everyone in Washington is replaced in 3 election cycles (for the whole Senate) there will be no change. Try replacing them with someone who has actually done productive work, not lawyers.
