  2. Nothing impresses Me anymore! on New Singer Sewing Machine Uses ... Game Boy · · Score: 4

At the camp I work at, every year, a group of Quilters come in to quilt for a weekend using our facilities. They come in and quilt till 1 or two in the morning....they are insane quilters...and their sewing machines are simply incredible! Several of the quilters have high-end sewing machines with LCD, backlit displays and accept 3.5" floppy disks to program in stitches and such. This gameboy cartridge thing doesn't seem nearly as portable and as useful as a simple floppy! These women were incredible..they would go home and program stitches and download the latest stuff off the net so they could stitch some stronger seams and such. And that was more than a year ago....

Of course, this service would only be available for Corporate Executives making in excess of 100k a year.

I was thinking that a great timesaving patent that would help all geeks...and all humanity, and possibly save millions of wasted minutes...would be.... A Random Button on Soda Machines This would save millions of wasted time deciding which caffeinated bevarage to choose. Why not just take a dive, and press the random button and let the soda gods decide?

I think this is a real, patentable idea...An extra button could be installed on soda machines that would randomly choose one of the other buttons and send some sort of signal to that button to send that soda down the little chute. Unfortunately, I only have the idea...and not the technical know-how to pull it off. The only random soda generator I have ever made was by stocking one soda rack with all different kinds of sodas and changing the button label to random...though it wasn't truely random. Someone should work on this. I would love it! I hate having to choose between Pepsi, RootBeer, Dr. Pepper and the other sodas...it would save me a lot of time.

I have seen sunspots through a telescope at Camp Susque in Trout Run PA We saw them using a 16 inch reflecting celestron telescope with all these neato computer controls and stuff. If you want to have a good laugh at my ignorance..go to here! don't flame about it or criticize it..I admit..it was dumb...if it even still exists.

back to potato guns though..I have a potatto gun, made from pvc...I use propane as fuel (hairspray is smelly and sticky and expensive.) and on a good day, I can send a potato flying 300 yards! We punched holes in plywood with it...we thought about sending small rodents through it..but my parents wouldn't allow it...and it was a cruel idea anyways... we also tried ether to fuel it (don't do this) but the one we tried blew apart...so we were forced to build another, large potato gun..with a 4 inch combustion chamber...we launched a spud from my friend's house to the highway...i am serious..the highway was about .5 miles away...I love those things.
