I heard around SWG forums (trying to find an opinion on if its worth playing now) that both Rebel VIPs and Imperial VIPs were going to cities "rallying the troops." I read Leia stopped by a city somewheres and also gave a "speech".
Yeah I know it's a slow Sunday news day, but how many stories with substance have they rejected lately to bring us nothing but speculation?/. is getting pretty weak anymore.
There is a ratings system for video games. The only problem is the parents don't want to learn it and take the time to know what their kids are doing. That's everyone elses job these days.
For your market impact to "wane" you have to actually have to IMPACT THE MARKET. N-Gage has not. In fact the only time I hear about N-Gage news is on/. and I consider myself to be a pretty big game player.
You're only 27, take the higher paying job, "sell out" for a while. Even when you hit 30 you still have ~35 years until you can retire, if you take the big money and don't spend it all retirement can be sooner or if you wait that long can be more comfortable.
It reminds me of a friend who got her degree and was working for the 2nd largest accounting firm until Arthur Anderson tanked. They wanted to pay hear nearly 100k/yr but she'd have to travel 80% of the time and work 60 hours a week.
Only 2 years later she regrets it. Despite the hours, the money she could have saved would have given her the option of taking a new job now with a fat sack of cash (she's very frugal).
I say make as much as you can now and relax later.
Based on their track record with releasing quality software, I don't blame them that the limit is only 5 dollars. They would be broke in no time if it was any higher.
The Gov. has no law disallowing the use of SS#'s for anything but SS type transactions. It would be a start if they actually enforced the why/when use of their mandatory numbering scheme.
"a dollar more here" * all the maximum bid increases conducted on eBay prior to the end of any auction, thereby automatically increasing your bid incrementally even if you're already the high bidder.
So if you're winning by 5 bucks, but wanna boost your max, which for simplicity we'll say is only another 5 bucks from current bid, it'll increase that limit but also increase your current bid by the auctions increment pricing. if we use the "a dollar more here" example, now you're winning by 6 dollars. if the other guy decided it was too high at the current bid and quit, you end up bidding against yourself and eBay gets more $ and you end up w/ less than you really needed to.
This guy thinks its price gouging. Maybe it is, the courts shall decide now it seems. I don't know if eBay explains this in their TOS, I don't use them anymore after being burned more than once and really having no worthwhile measures to combat it.
If you go in to get a new Blockbuster card the terms of the new system are spelled out in writing. They're trying to get people into their stores. Anyone who really thinks Blockbuster is going to let you keep a movie for 4-5 bucks forever is also the same kind of people who blame video games for teenage violence.
Sign up for a free cellphone lately? What's that? Only if you sign a 2 year contract? Blasphemy! I was promised a new phone, no strings attached on TV!
Come on you know this is just some guy with a law degree who's looking for 15 minutes. Blockbuster is the best he could come up with??
My point is it takes less time to give them back a movie than it does to get one. Yet people don't seem to have any problem finding the time to browse and deal with a line if it's busy.
If you can't find time to take the movie back DON'T rent from Blockbuster's brick`n`mortar stores; instead use their mail service or Netflix and late fee's are a non-issue.
You're telling me that you can take the time to browse their selection, wait in line to check out and sit on the movie anywhere from 14 to 44 days, but you can't find 5 seconds in that time to slip it back in their drop box?
Why this got posted, I dunno. This happens all the time with video games. Especially sequels that are slated for release so soon after the original.
Second, this game was out on Xbox 2 months ago and yeah I'm sure the PC audience is more the/. type of crowd, however it's the same frickin' game contentwise, yet we didn't have a rant fest back in December.

No one ever said the world was full of geniuses.
Didn't the Cobalt Qube folks sue Apple over the G4 cube because they thought it was too close to resembling the Qube?

Both of which are, at some point, are usually followed by "in 5-10 years." :P

That sounds ridiculous to me. They should only be able to sue for what it would cost that person to actually BUY that movie.

They're too busy posting dupes and stories rife with spelling errors
iPod mini style drives would be perfect for this. Although perhaps a tad expensive.
"Nothing for you to see here. Please move along."
Behold MAME for digi cams.
I remeber my Canopus Pure 3D which was only 4MB! You kids and your fancy 16MB gaming!
You couldn't link to a torrent for the Xbox ISO or something?? :P
The only game EA has released that I have enjoyed since Battlefield 1942 is Burnout 3. The Sega ESPN games are way better sports games.
Is that the new thing the kids holler while swingin' their forearm above their head in circles??
As far as I know, in many places Cat5 is standard over Cat3 now. I know electricians who say they haven't used Cat3 for most anything in 3-4 years.

What I want to see is the arm move when they poke the monkey's brain with their finger.
