If you support abortions that are medically necessary then you place a higher value on the mother than the fetus. Therefore, you should have no issue with abortion in all cases. Unless of course you are not being rational.

You're right, he does place higher value on the mother than the fetus; however, second to the mother, the fetus takes highest value. Therefore, if the mother (top priority) is not at risk, the fetus (next highest priority) should be protected and given the right to live. His argument is perfectly rational, you are wrong.

I actually think this is an important development for Iran and a significant threat to their local opponents. These things can be created in quantity, and probably quite cheaply: a 500 pound bomb being dropped unexpectedly from 600+ miles away? Then it simply flies back to base and grabs another bomb - and radar is important for devices flying high in the sky, but not so much for a small drone dipping between treetops over a well-picked flight path.

Searching for Tiananmen Square yields nothing about a massacre, and searching Tiananmen Square Massacre only yields FOUR results. FOUR. A couple of them are regarding civilians volunteering to patrol Tiananmen Square for a holiday or something. I am absolutely blown away and until today had no idea just how bad the censorship is. Lanes can be shared between "transit/commerce/utility" and "personal motorized transport" more efficiently than splitting them up (unless the ratios are 1:1 which would almost never happen). As for bicycles, for inner-city roads they can simply share the roads as they will typically go the same speed as the cars. For rural roads, they have the shoulder. For roads in between, they can stay to the side or on the sidewalk as there won't be nearly as many pedestrians.

I also believe it will come back to bite me in the bottom since those with modpoints have a tendency to mod up (read: suck up to) those with =6 digits in their UID. This must be the same sort of flawed rationale that much of the electorate follows in electing their Congressional representatives and senators, with about the same level of functionality and effectiveness.

Who modded this man insightful? The first sentence he wrote was stupidly split up between a subject and body in a reply to a parent post, and although it was a valid statement anyone with half a brain could have said that. "If Mom says her kid is guilty, he really must be!" A damn monkey would come to that conclusion.

The article also provides a terrifying glimpse of your future if you work for a living.

Then he follows up with such a stupid statement afterwards, as if literally no thought was put into what he was typing. Wait, why am I complaining? Leave it to a karma-whoring /.'er to discover a revolutionary causation via a flawed correlation between working for a living and killing oneself. So much for only limiting what I see to +4/+5 posts because apparently those with modpoints are just as stupid.
