Beat that siri, bet you don't have emotional opinions
Sorry I probably did not tweak my advice well enough for your specific position, feel free to skip step 1. As step 2 will help with step 1 later on, and then when you want to kill your PHB become a freelancer angain!
1. Get some experience not doing freelance (know the tools of the trade) - Dont just default to freelance because you can't find a job.
2. Create a Website with a portfolio of your work. (this does not need to be for actual customers, could be ideas you have come up with and made, eg for web development create some word press sites / joomla or similar, create some sites using the language of your choice, for me that was PHP and the whole LAMP stack. and some sites using a framework like Yii (or what ever). and mingle in some JQuery / JS / LESSCSS.
3. Profit??
I have a nephew with autism and any progress would be welcome in treating it. Although its one of those things where so much of it feels like that's 'his' personality and treating it feels a bit strange... also would be interesting on the affects of treatment on someone like this girl...

According to Wikipedia...
"As a result of his business career, by 2007, Romney and his wife had a net worth of between $190 and $250 million"
Im not kidding... 2 people I admire greatly are collectively worth about $150M, and I can tell you that most of us live just like us day to day (although by choice). One drives a Holden Statesmen and the other a Mazda MX5. They eat plain meals, "meat and 3 vege", show at "Lowes" and live a simple life. Maybe Romney is still in touch even as a successful business man, maybe that helped him get to where he is?
Im surprised just how many/. folk seem to come from church / creation backgrounds.
Like many of you I was brought up on this type of indoctrination and as I have gotten older (i am currently in my mid 20's) have questioned more and more of it. I think many of you are failing to give religion the 'respect' it deserves... I dont think any particular mainstream religion is true anymore, but I also fail to see how evolution / naturalism can account for matter in general and life in particular, seriously how could it given our current understanding of cosmology? and the huge leap between evolution of physical matter to evolution to an imaterial consciousness... Some form of religion makes much more sense IMHO... But the problem is, each particular religion can be shown to be bogus, which leads me to my current position, which is god/s or whatever initiated the big bang and guided evolution or provided consciousness to creatures but otherwise has never interfered again, which explains the lack of miracles present in the christian church at least...
Im also a happy Raspberry Pi owner, havent had any known problems with ethernet or usb, i am using a 2TB USB3 external HD with its own power source.
In any case, I would happily fork out another ~$35 for a new and improved one if I had the described problem.
Is there anything wrong with a sub culture having a different policy/ view? Obviously there are degrees and workplace policies need not apply in every environment.
It hasn't...
I tried being all technical (as a first year maths teacher) and observed that the sound from the gun was taking time to reach us, and some mum next to me with stop watch was like, 'we go by the smoke'

Well I don't know about of course... That's a pretty strong statement considering most smart phones don't even have dedicated dialer buttons

Or maybe it wasn't flame bait since they didn't mention Linux. Maybe it was perspective?
