Except that when you steal you remove an item from someone without either paying for it, replacing it, or being allowed to. And in your "point" what makes you think the developer sells any copies in the first place. You are assuming that he will sell 1 copy. If you make a copy of something no one else would by how are you robbing him of any time or income? A great example is abandonware. Are you robbing defunct companies of revenue on software that is impossible to find anywhere because its not made anymore? "Piracy" however wrong or right it may or may not be is not in any way the same as stealing.

Kind of like abandonware. Most abandonware titles are impossible to find in a hard copy. In many cases the companies that own the rights arent around anymore. Kind of seems like digital media is harder to preserve than physical media to me sometimes as we take it for granted how easy it is to backup, then no one backs it up.

Aerodynamic drag makes your engine push harder to move the car at speed. Leading to higher RPM's. Two identical cars will burn the same amount of fuel at the same RPM's regardless of speed. Excuse me for not knowing how to quote but "If you have your throttle wide open to do 60mph at 1500RPM and I can do 30mph at 3000RPM with my foot off the gas, you are going to use more fuel than I am." made no sense. Do i have a v10 torquemonster? An inline 4? WOT alone has NOTHING to do with fuel consumption. Like i said. Two identical cars at the same RPM regardless of speed will use the same fuel. Drag isnt some magical force that robs you of gas the faster you go. It impedes you from going faster without adding force. The wonders of mechanical advantage.

You will consume twice as much fuel as me. Hell all my cars which range from 1977 to 1994 have an overdrive function available which is essentially an extra gear that you shift into at high speeds to cruise in low rpm.
