    Here in Mexico, all the cool kids (upper middle class and up) used to have Blackberry Curves for the same reason... Many still do.

    But slowly, the "cool factor" of the iPhone has been eroding this hegemony and WhatsApp is slowly replacing BBM as the gossip medium of choice.

    I live in an apartment building made of concrete blocks and rebar (like most construction here in Mexico), and I can't get wifi signal in my living room from my the router in the bedroom.

    So it's not just new houses.

    You can use the old netbook interface in 10.10 too... it is listed on the desktop options at the bottom when you log in

    I actually ditched the netbook interface and just run the 10.10 release candidate in my Acer Aspire One in desktop mode.

    Get rid of the second bar, put the rest of the stuff in the top bar, you're done

    One thing that everybody must consider, is that every news source (including Blog del Narco) has its own agenda.

    Even the different newspapers and TV channels have their own allegiances, so you must read multiple news sources to get an approximation of the truth.
