Maybe you should trying buying me a phone that does not require being powered off in order to be restarted in flight mode. (Which requires entering your PIN, if you' ve not disabled it). Every mobile phone I've ever owned has worked this way. Including my 2-months-old Samsung Galaxy.
You... are not making any sense. My Droid Incredible has a widget with an airplane on it. Click it, all radios are killed, unclick it, all radios are back on.

My lowly Huawei Ideos has the same feature, so it's most likely part of Android.
Also, hold on the power button, and a menu pops up, asking if you want to turn it off, or just put it on airplane mode.
Obama is not a socialist. A few hard-right Americans disagree with his policies, but most of the western world considers the Republicans hard right, and the Democrats very right. Only the USA still has a significant population who still believes that unfettered capitalism is the best policy. The recent melt down of the USA financial sector, directly caused by the deregulation of two Republican administrations shows that unfettered capitalism is often a disaster.
(it suddenly occurs to me... Is it possible to have one contact belong to different groups at the same time? Like some nesting Venn Diagram of interconnected circles?)
As a Mexican, I can say it is true that there are frictions between ethnic groups and geographical regions within the country.
A lot is just stereotype and jokes, like Californians and Appalachians and New Yorkers, etc, might regard each other.
But there is an undercurrent of racism in Mexico, which is not polite to admit in public (People say "this is a country that abolished castes and slavery during its independence war! Of course we are not racists!"), but is true nonetheless.
IIRC Al shares the song writing credit on everything he does, which means they also get a nice check for doing nothing. Only someone with no sense of humor or has an inflated ego says no.
We have those two here in Mexico for the $20 and $50 peso bills (the lowest paper denominations)
They do not last a lot longer than the paper ones, they are more resistant when they are new, but if you get a tiny tear on it it will come apart in a second.

A million times this.
Yes, but it is an additional level of abstraction to tell a newbie to install this distro, but go to this other distro's website for help...
I am a supervisor at a call center in Mexico City.
It is not uncommon for americans to hang up if they find out the 1-800 number they are calling goes to Mexico. I imagine it is worse for India.
I'd suggest Ubuntu instead of Mint, if only because of the large number of helpful people in the Ubuntu forums
Just use "public" then...

Watch your mouth, you don't want the Kingslayer to smack you around with his gold hand, do you?
They said the same about "Made in Japan" in the 1960's and 70's
Here's some help: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AspireOne

I have no problems with Ubuntu 11.04 suspend or hibernate on my Acer Aspire One (similar specs to an EeePC)

Is there a link to that video that can be watched from outside the US?
I have no idea what you are talking about. I learned about this from Weird Al himself, via Twitter.
I can assure you I wasn't the only guy to retweet it all day long.
Nice troll!
They are made in Australia, like most of the polymer banknotes of the world
