    I agree entirely - sell him the fuel and let him go home with a head full of good tails about our governments. What you don't think he's going straight to the press with this! He'll go home and forget all about it?

    I agree - I don't think that you can trust any vehicle that can not "glide" to a halt when the power supply fails. I include many modern aircraft in this group, such as fighters and helicopters. Once they get into trouble they fall from the sky no matter how good the pilot is.

    Good point. I switched my attention from Mandrake to Red Hat when I read that Mandrake was doomed. Now it looks like Mandrake is back on track, or are they releasing work that had already been done and this is going to be the last we hear?

    Preventing unsolicited mail by allowing people to opt-out is _not_ a step towards socialism. I object to junk mail because of the waste of resources and environmental impact that it has.
    Laws that require companies to respect an individuals privacy are not going to herald the colapse of society, but they may save a few hectares of forest.

    You are being un-realistic. Management should be in touch with the workforce and have a good feel for the situation. If the management are not aware of the situation, then they are not doing their job. Such people are not likely to take kindly to having their short-comings pointed out to them.
