My parent's generation is still trying to figure out 3-3-3 for F, despite having an alpha-numeric keypad since the days of rotary phones.
How are they supposed to learn this?
I can't see this thing being hooked up to the 120V in the garage and still charging in six minutes... more like 460V 3-phase (disclaimer - I am by no means an EE).
Regardless of the reactions and if they're justified or not, good luck being the prez who says "Well, we've got a smoking hole in lower Manhattan, but we're not going to change a single thing. Nope, just going to keep it the way it is...."
Ummm.... if it's "non-satellite imagery," where else could it be from?
I'd think a guy taking pictures out of a Cessna wouldn't be very economical long-term compared to a drone.
It's just The Way It Is.
I live in the Northeast (hint - Yankees Suck!), and when everyone drives like that, you get more cars through the green, and everything goes smoother.
I've also lived in NC, and sometimes the third car wouldn't make it due to the inability of some people to stay on top of their driving.
Obviously, these are generalizations, and there are always exceptions, but I think asshole driving = better driving.
NB - Asshole driving =/= road rage, which is an special, advanced case.
Durrrr.
I was thinking of that, but meant my post more in the sense that it wouldn't be as easy as chaining military vehicles, which all have lifting/tie-down eyes on the bumpers/frame, etc....
Right-of-ways, tunnels, etc.... Some areas (I'd imagine out West, but I've never been on a train out there) might be able to support them, but then you're stuck with rolling stock that can only traverse x% of the lines.
Even if you don't have anything on the outboard side of the lines, there's still generally a fixed space between tracks, which means you'd have to widen the lines.
BTDT also, but it's a lot easier when you've got Humvees and 7-tons (or 5-tons, or whatever...); not an F250, Honda Civic, a Harley, a couple of busted minivans, etc... all with different attachment points and every other challenge inherent with a run-what-you-brung method.
When I was a little kid, there was the Amtrak Auto Train. It ran from VA to FL. Now (I'm 23), we've still got the Auto Train. It runs from VA to FL. Doesn't seem like it's taken off on a large scale.
Yes, exactly. Not EVERY computer in the DoD is accredited to process classified material.
....I've just churned your asses...
Sounds kinky.
For the cost of 16 ounces I could probably charter my own BBJ.
We already do it for news, now TV shows? What's next, paying $10 to sit in front of a movie I had to help write?
I may only have one parent. S/he may be the only one of his/her generation. Does qualifying my statement make it better?

I actually make it very, very clear when I'm raging on the road. Spares any confusion on the part of my passengers. Or other people's passengers.

I last about 1.3 seconds before laying on the horn when I'm waiting behind an idiot stopped at a green. Good luck getting a cop there before that.
Saturated fat isn't a nutrient?
Obligatory XKCD: http://www.xkcd.com/538/
Will it show calming pictures on the screen while I'm raging at customer service?
....it's like a coffee table book for nerds?
The military has them up to about three feet. Possibly larger, but those are the biggest I've personally used.
Everyone is guilty of something.
While Humvees are indeed heavier than this (5200-5900 pounds,
When I left Afghanistan about six months ago, Humvees were well over 10,000 pounds. Come to think of it, they weighed about the same in Iraq in 2006.
I'm a wine snob - I won't touch Mad Dog 20/20. Thunderbird all the way....

Massachusettsan? They're called Massholes.
I thought lasers such as TOSLINK were eye-safe? Don't have a reference, but I'm pretty sure they're only a Class I laser.
