A odd thing to say to a Buddhist from an asian country. I dont even own a TV genius. I cant tell you whats on foxnews because i've never watched it we dont even get it here is it anything like the rubbish on CNNI or the BBc? You do realize muslims have been slaughtering people in Asia for some time now dont you? maybe you ought to read the news a bit more. Take a look at the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand or India. The war is hardly confined to iraq. Maybe you ought to read more. I've just realized the obvious fact that muslims will slaughter pacifists. Go read the koran.

Slaughterhouse 5 was rubbish. Its message was appalling.

I tend to think that if someone presents prevent global warming as a reason to do something that is not directly realted that topic, they have a weak argument.

For example, use bran X it is utter crap but at least it is "Greener" than brand Y which actually works. Right, because you are buying the product to fight global warming, not to do the intended task of said product.

  21. Re:Why? on OpenOffice.org Tries to Woo Dell · · Score: 1

1: So Dell gets a support call about Open Office. They handle it the same way they handle most technical questions about MS Office: go to the software vendor. Problem solved. No additional work required.

2: Why would Dell need to distribute CD's with source on them? Nowhere does the GPL even mention that you have to do this. All they have to do is include a piece of paper in each box that says "Want the Open Office source? Email: xxx@dell.com", or set up an FTP site, or make someone mail in a source request form, etc, etc. Problem solved. 1. MS office is not shipped free with a dell computer. Open office would be like windows, something dell provides and thus their responsibility.

    2. The source is the major cost. Clearly the FTP server is not free, the bandwidth is not free some one needs to reply to the email address. The thus it will cost dell money to include open office with no measurable increase in revenue because of the inclusion of open office. the source requirement in the GLP is the biggest hurdle.

"I think it' extremely valuable for the entire space arena," [USAF Lt. Col. "Maybe you can accept a level of imperfection that will allow you to go up later and perform upgrades and perform repairs, and put more propellant onboard to get the job done. That will be a sea change in the way we do business."
    Dude, wtf?
This is rocket science, not something you'd patch with Windows Update.

    Which is more expensive:
    A) Build the satellite correctly the first time around
    B) Build the satellite cheaply and QUICKLY ; then pay to get it fixed in orbit

I know which is better for Lt. Col. Fred Kennedy's bottom line. there i fixed it for you
