why exactly do you think we evolved in such a way that sex is pleasurable? there is a reason for it you know. Imagine a few homosexual cavemen how do you think they would have reproduced? all they know is that they want to mate with others of the same sex. The wouldnt know that they need to mate with the opposite sex to reproduce. Not being programmed to mate properly is a severe weakness that really nullifies all other strenghts since you dont know how to pass your genes to another generation. I believe this is the reason why nothing like homosexaulity exists in other animals.
this reminds me, during the first indian nuclear crisis in 1996, Bill clinton gave the indian PM with pictures of a nuclear test attempt. Having been caught, the halted preparations. However, having the photos, let them calculate when the sats came above. this helped in hiding nuclear tests a few year later until it was too late.
currently texteditor can handle doc files. keynot replaces power point. I guess a bit more refinement on texteditor and a new pread sheet app is all that the doctor asked for. NSTextview all the way baby!
i dont know if you hop into a starbucks, how many macs do you see compared to linux boxes? how about around campus at your school. how many non techies do you know who use linux compared to mac? linux is really a tiny segment of the market. Far smaller than mac.
maybe we need a new term because free software can mean two things. That is why people keep on saying free as in beer and speech. If the originator of the term in question hadn't chosen an ambiguous term like free we wouldn't have this problem. I propose a new term that will clear all this up, lets say, liberal software. Thus we have three distinct categories which form a type of hierarchy. Free Software: IE, Media player, linux, BSD, C# etc.. (software that does not cost money) Open source: bsd, C#, Linux, etc. (software that you can also see the source for) Liberal Software: Linux, etc. (all of the above and also politically defined as free/libre )
using i think Liberal or maybe libre carries a similar meaning as Free but distinguishes it from Free in a monetary sense.

Right now there's only mention of a Korean release (it goes on sale there December 22nd with a list price of about US$344, which is way too high for over here), but everything is about like we'd expected: 5GB hard drive, 1.5-inch color screen (for looking at digital photos), built-in FM radio, 12 hour battery life, and a vertical touch pad that's "reminiscent" of the one found on Creative's Zen Touch (and let's just leave it at that, ok?).

if it were ever released for intel in its gui form would kill MS but also bring down apple in the process..
