    it is always funny when people release software under the GPL then get upset when it is used or modified in a way they dont like. If sone one wants to port kdelibs to win32 what are you going to do about it? your code is free.

    I actually wored on somehting similar in college. The difference being that i trtied to pay attention to the netowrk structure and chose hosts close to me. I have noticed more than the avalibility of bandwidth, it is the usage of it that makes the big difference in networks like these. In other word the overlay topology should be such that it tries to find the host that is closest and tries to take advantage of existing connections on common links. Unfortunatly, so far, here is so far nothing that compares to multicast on the router level and most systems do not support it.

    konqueror embedded is only about 2mb! opera is abou 3mb. Both are extremly fast on Qtopia based handhelds. I dont think there is a need for mozilla. In fact, GPE and X based handhelds already have Dillio

    i think this apples to most of asia. ASians value education much more than a lot of others. That is the reson why you have asians coming to the us and making it so big when they started off poorer thanmost black in the us

    I dont want to reply to my own post but this is hillarious! search for "Republic of China" in google and the first link is the Taiwan government page. Search for it in Acoona and you get "People's Republic of China" as the first link.

    test it yourself, goto google and search fro taiwan and you get the Republic of China's official page. Search for it in Acoona there is no mention of the Republic of China anywhere.

    no communism is inheriently totalitarian. have you read any writings of communist leaders? what happens to people who disagree? in the utopia society suppose someone is born and that person disagrees, what happens to them? they are removed form "utopia". i dont like proof by example, but look at any communist state in the world today how come EVERY SINGLE one of them is totalitarian? can you show me a case whem communism is not?

    well son, maybe god is not a he and maybe god does not need to show up. I have seen god do wonderful things for the crippled and god didnt even have to show up. If you want proof, go take a look at your local religious charity, look at mother teresa, the dalai lama, the salvation army, and thousands of similar people. These people are the hands of god in our world. Can you tell me that Mother Teresa was not doing gods work when she went and helped the sickest and poorest people in the world? where were are all the other people you claim to be so great? do they give up their fortunes? family? no. Think about that the next time you see some millionaire hollywood big-shot running a fund raiser when they could just donate money themselves.

    but does it run linux? seriously the hardware my be ok but does it run linux? one reason why i get pocket pcs is that i can flash it and install what ever distro i want. Using familiar now but the new gentoo looks nice. There is nothing like having X windows send your apps to your handheld while walking down the street :)

    actually you are sort of right ia32 architecture is inherintly no virtulizable because of the presence of non priviledged sensitive instructions. Basically VMware an other VMs work by trapping all privilidged instructions so that they dont try to run directly on the hardware and thus fool the os in the VM into thinking it is running natively. you can trap all commands on ia32 and as a result some software magic is necessary.. vmware no really a vm because the system is not virtulizable

    i'm sorry, let me correct myself, the nehru-gandhi family and if you don't think they ever ran the country, take a look at past pime ministers from the family and also the head of the current ruling congress party. Also, I recall indra ganghi ruled during a state of emergency she declared.
