There are many levels of time people put into games. How exactly do you definite 'casual'? If you look at it from the MMO perspective (wow for example) do you count a casual gamer as someone who doesnt raid? how about someone who only spends time in the game for raiding and not much else? What about if the non-raider spends more time in game than the raider, which one is casual?

Once I read this report I tossed out my iphone and blackberry. I now walk around with the convenience of a xbox 360 and Playstation 3 strapped on each side of my hip. I also attach an atari 2600 to my chest for legacy situations.
So how'd we go from "zomg! we've got 8 years to get to the moon. Go Go Go!" 40 years ago but today we're just launching probes and taking walks in space outside of an orbiting station occasionally. What have we been doing? Where would we have been if we'd kept up the pace from the moon landing?
They seemed to take out a couple of categories from the original chart.
* Browser most likely to cause the user to pull out hair - IE8 * Browser able to download viruses and malware the fastest - IE8 * Browser able to crash and take your whole OS down faster than a $2 hooker - IE8
What is the deal with these people? What is their major problem with video games? Did their digital mothers get spawn camped and teabagged when they were children?
IF I had a stick 100 Million light years long. With me holding the stick on one end, and a tiny model spaceship on the other end of the stick and I move that stick left or right, would the ship not move faster than light?
The problem with a lot of upcoming MMOs is that they try their best to best WoW in size, spouting about how many servers they have. How much content they're going to have, while saying "we're not interested in how WoW does things, we do it our way." Its a lie, they want to be wow and whether its conscious or not they fall into the 'trying to be wow' trap.
You can't beat wow by being a better wow. Beat wow by being a better game.
If you build it, subscribers will come. If you build it and try to be like wow, you'll be merging servers in under a month.
Also take note of the Australian Christian Lobby rep "Lyle" who interjected during the discussion saying that the majority view of anti-filter people was that rape porn and child porn had no effect on children which was not said by anyone in the audience or at anytime.
Its that kind of view that has to be struggled against. If you're for the filter you're pro child if you're against then you're pro child-porn. Its sickening.
You can have a warning on video games but as a trade off all political sites and offices must have a huge sign erected out front with "WARNING: Dangerous amounts of stupid inside."
