Although this might earn me some flaming, is it really relevant now days to have the borg bill icon for all MS stories? Although MS might still do some questionable things I would have thought that slashdot on the editorial side would have grown over the years to become a touch more serious in how stories are approached.
To clarify, one eye is significantly weaker than the other to the point I can't read things if I close my other eye to see out of it. My vision primarily is out of the one eye.
I saw a couple of 3D tvs shown at a tradeshow I went to about a month ago. There were two different types, one I looked at closely had a different type of glass on the front which made the image behind 3D. The other by sony didnt have it as far as I could see and looked just like a normal TV.
Sucks to be me though, I've got a dominate eye so I can't see the 3D stuff. Just looks like an out of tune tv. Guess i've got that to look forward to when they go mainstream:P
I have nightmarish pictures popping into my head of a waterfall of ethernet cables spewing from this with user's ports un-numbered with no network diagrams. People bashing on the server room door in a zombie like state muttering "MRRRHH FACEBOOK!" "TWWIIIITEEEuggggghh" with me inside screeching "NO! NO! I DONT KNOW WHAT PORT YOUR DESK IS! NO! I CAN'T MAKE THINGS GO FASTER!" before curling up in a ball listening to the hum of servers and the lamentations of the users outside the door desperately scratching to get in.
Anyway, I've been following the Kepler program on their web site and have read of a couple of "reboots" where they had to put the spacecraft into safe mode. Anyone know if they've found/fixed the problem? It's not good to have a program specifically designed for 3+ years of non-stop continuous observation to have intermittent gaps in its observations!
NASA should have unticked the "apply updates automatically" those service packs are a killer.
The military version might be able to lift 200lb weights, speed box, run, jump and other amazing things.
Nothing a cup of water wont put a stop to.

I would have thought the 3 laser dots on your chest or the bodies hung upside down in trees would have been pretty good signs of a predator.
Going off of those standards, the thumbdrive sitting on my desk should weigh 22,118.4 kilos.
Double that because i've got two.
...or an area wide zombie alert.
Happy Dude is not going to be happy.
Futurama got it partly right... there's gonna be booths on each corner, just not the suicide booth variety.
Big enough for a family of 4 to be raised in. Getting the 50" plasma TV in was a struggle though.
The Australian mint... where you can buy a $1 coin for $2 from a vending machine.
How do you turn the tap (faucet) on and off?.
I dont.
I carry a six pack of puppies around to lick my hands clean.
Yeah because door knobs and keyboards are so much more hygienic...?
At least with a touchscreen it's only the tips of your fingers and not your entire palm (as in the case of a mouse or door knob).
I really hope you dont use your whole palm to go to the bathroom with. A little excessive isnt it? Or do you just like a job well done?
Wash your damn hands after you go to the bathroom, picking your nose or dealing with some body fluid.
When can we cut access to EMI, Sony, Universal and Warner?
They only just missed out, the pattern actually appears after 2 500 000 000 001.
...and every couple of months the mess of cables will have to be prodded with a broomstick to check for dead network engineers.

I roll up 100 dollar bills to snort up other 100 dollar bills. Its a vicious circle.
Real guns or not, iddqd and idkfa is all i need baby.

Scientists estimate that at least 30% of the bulk is made up of Collectors edition Daikatana boxes.
There's a sims 3? The sims get expansion packs? Shocking, much in the same way its shocking the sun rises and sets each day.
So when did this mysterious 50 million years mark start? yesterday? 10 million years ago? 49? 65 million years ago?
