    Foxconn reconfigures by issuing orders to hordes of expensive workers.

    US manufacturing could reconfigure taking advantage of technology, and negate the Chinese labor advantage.

  2. Once you level the playing field with automation, the hordes of cheap Chinese labor are less of an advantage.

    The ideal would be reconfigurable, lights-out manufacturing.

    The Chinese couldn't compete because of shipping costs.

    It's global adjustment, the Chinese are NOT racing to the bottom.

    Americans can work for much less money then they do now but it will take years for low wages to FORCE down the cost of living.

    Good riddance. Being allowed to come here is an incredible gift and any non-citizen who commits the least crime against Americans should be kicked out. Further, such ejection should be done administratively and without appeal.

    I'd like to see privacy invaders broken on the wheel in the public square.

    A persons home is their castle and even if a "home" is shared, there is an expectation of privacy.

    Superstition is bad, Superstitionists are bad because they propagate nonsense unsupported by evidence.

    If they PROVE their Sky Fairie is real, I'll bow down and kiss his/her/it's Noodly Appendage. If not, their beliefs are shit and they are liars.

    I have no use for the beliefs of flat-earthers. The only reason they are treated with respect is centuries of religious oppression enforcing that "respect".

    Respect for superstition and for the dangerous liars who propagate it should end.
