Everything it sells it bought somewhere, added its logo, and made it slower...
I think you figured it out. They use a 150GB logo file and just use height and width tags to shrink it to the right display size. That explains the slower-ness.
Apparently, search them to make sure they don't have more than 3 oz. of suntan lotion. No, I'm sorry... make sure the drop of suntan lotion they have left isn't contained in a container marked over 3 oz.
The part I don't get is what's stopping someone from splitting up bomb component chemicals into 3 oz. bottles and then pouring them together on the plane? Maybe in a shoe that has been recently been declared Not-Terrorism.
I'm sure this post just got me added to a list somewhere.
I have not to my knowledge ever been infected by a crack, and I mostly agree with you. I think they do have incentive, though. If they crack a popular game and their crack gets distributed to 100,000 people, they have a decent botnet to sell if they include malware. They can at least make enough to buy the team new laptops.
I thought it would be fun to have everyone highlight the whole book. Then you can just copy and paste it from the website without having to buy it. Extra points for getting Amazon in trouble for publishing it without permission.
This is different. Farmer Deuteronomy does not own that land. God owns the land and wants the farmer to take care of it. Those verses are the terms and conditions of his job as a steward over that land.
But it turns out this doesn't mean licensing the codec for the installs we end users make from the ISOs we've downloaded and burned or anything. It's about offering OEMs the option of licensing it for preinstalled copies of Ubuntu.
Exactly. This is just like my Dell Mini 9 with Ubuntu. It came with Fluendo codecs preinstalled. I had to give them up when I decided to use the regular Ubuntu instead of Dell's old version that rarely saw updates.

You must've posted that over 3G.

However, this is back-of-the-envelope, and being off by a factor of 3 is quite acceptable IMHO.
And thousands of college student Slashdotters begin their plot to replace Scantrons with envelopes on campus.
Search them for what? A bomb, a gun?

And after they break the DVDs trying to insert them into the 8-track player, they will come out of their homes searching for entertainment.

You're lucky! The people I know don't know how to change fonts or styles and do all of their layout with the space bar. I need new friends...
How about you sell your ass for $.50-$.75 DRM free?
The difference is that a show can be bought and used by millions of people simultaneously, while his ass... Ok, I see your point now.
